It si a supernatural romance + investigation. There is amnesia trope. ML becomes FL's slave and he becomes also clingy (ep 1). There is also cat-and-mouse game.
I like the interactions but the drama is very average to me plot wise.

I did not like the summary. I started watching it anyway for the main actress that I liked in other dramas.

I hope by mid season ML will discover the secret and start protecting FL.

In my opinion, she would have escaped any harm if she was wounded to save FL or ML.
This is the law of those dramas. one has to pay with the same money.
I knew she would be raped and I though she would end up killed.
It is not about deserving being raped.

Luckily, characters are not real human being.

The Empress got the exact retribution of what she did :

She killed/tortured several palace maids because she was jealous of them being allowed to approach/touch ML Whereas he rejected/ fled her.
She even threatened FL to burry her and use her as fertilizer, hintting why the maid before her disappeard.

She tried to rape the ML using aphrodisiac, in the end she was raped. Fair?
She just reap what she sow.

I don't feel that she was wronged.

And I don't even speak about The Empress being an accomplice to her brother the Regent. She was quietly watching the Regent bully the Emperor in a wait for having the Emperor in her bed.

I feel like she was lucky not to end up dead in the end, considering the number of casualties she provoked.

If she was innocent, I would have understood her. But she had too much blood on her hands.

That was a questionnable FL to say the least.

I watched the begining (15 mn), the way ML touched this high schooler several times already is inapropriate.

Age gap FL 15 / ML 26 looks too much like Kim SeRon 14 / Kim SooYun 27 when they started living together.
I pass.

I think they wanted to give the drama a classic touch with the english OST. And maybe differenciate the drama from all the others.

If I am honest, they succeeded. Because who else does it, we are speaking about it.
First I expected something else, but the slow motions while performing the songs are the directors touch.
He did the same in "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon" ( that I did not watch but I saw some clips o it.

I cannot believe the drama is almost finished airing and I still don't like FL.

But I understand ML and his character development.
