I think they wanted to give the drama a classic touch with the english OST. And maybe differenciate the drama from all the others.

I cannot believe the drama is almost finished airing and I still don't like FL. She will reap what she sow, in my opinion. I cannot pity her. But I understand ML and his character development.

The best vertical drama I have ever watched. Storytelling wise everything is on point. Very good. The harem schemes are usual but it is well handled in this drama.
Because of this drama I will stop thinking that verticals are of a lesser quality than other dramas. It really depends on the crew. There are hidden gem in every format.

Unlike you, I don't think she broke the bangle for a man. In my opinion, she broke it for herself. To stop being coerced into thinking that, their ending would be tragic. She wanted to focus on hope. She was too stressed because of her visions. However, yes breaking her mother's keepsake was dumb.
I did not like the Emperor's behaviour. He was so keen to separting ML and FL. I wondered if he had ulterior motives or a misplaced romantic interest toward FL.
Overall, I didn't like this drama because of the childish FL and the way the plot was handled. But it was visually beautiful to watch .
I didn't like it. FL is too childish and dumb. It spoiled everything for me. Even when she is afraid for her life. She is still childish. Big NO NO for me. The rest of the cast is ok though. It's a pity, the drama is beautiful to watch.

Age gap FL 15 / ML 26 looks too much like Kim SeRon 14 / Kim SooYun 27 when they started living together.
