Please help me understand:

If someone ( a famous actress/ movie star) signs a fake relationship contract, including sex services but there is no mutual feelings : Is it considered prostitution? I would say yes.

I am asking for a drama I am currently watching, which is completely different from the contract Yeong Ra signed with the chairman.

Yong Ran and the chairman settled everything so clearly. I imagine no quiproquo or misunderstanding could get in the way of their plan. If ever the plot allowed feelings to devellop. ( the chairman would be younger and of course survive. becoming Second Male Lead)

But if someone is paid for a girlfriend experience, including intercourse. I don't think that person can, out of the blue, devellop feelings for her counterpart, and be trustworthy.
This is not "pretty woman" with Richard Gere and Julia Roberts.

I just started episode 1 and it gave me good vibes.
Of course it old school and that's also what's cute about it.

Good ideas, dull result. Unfortunatly. Writing and directing could have been better.
Those actors where in other dramas, they were good. So why is it dull here?.

I knew the regent would try to utilize the pregnancy. How despicable and logical of him to do.
It is laughable : the empress wanted to drug ML and rape him, she got her retribution.

What I also like is that FL is so clever. She undestood the all pregnancy drama on the spot. So we did not have any stupid misunderstanding arc about ML being the father. Great.

I didn't watch the drama because on episode 1, I watched the first 5 minutes, and FL was weird, being so promiscuous rigth away. I dropped it on the spot.
The actrice was great in "embrace in the dark night". I don't know why it felt off for me here.
Directing, script???.. don't know.
Not sure I resume it.

That a weird ending... A pity, the show was entertaining.

The summary makes me think that ML took a job to be a prey hunted by a group of people.
Like in "the most dangerous game".
Interested to know what it is in reality.

ML wasn't jealous all of a sudden.
Maybe you didn't notice that ever since FL started entertaining SML on the first time the 3 of them were together and SML wanted to do something with FL, ML always tried to dirvert her attention and create barriers to stop them from collaborating. But those never worked.
ML was always jealous/ possessive but he was hiding it.

I also don't think ML hated FL. For some reason he wanted her to fear him.
Did he ever try to kill her ... never.
There are a lot of dramas out there in which ML hates FL to the bone and tries to kill her by any means necessary. ( "love of nirvana" : ML and FL are real enemies to lovers. First episode ML stabs FL with a dagguer and those killing attemps goes on and on through out the season)

=> I think that since the very first time ML saw FL, he already had a thing for her, but he was hiding it.
Because, being ruthless and violent would have been easy for him as a lord of war.
This is how I understood the characters.

I have my hopes up for this one.
My theory is : Maybe they try to fund a rebellion by selling drug.
If so, there might some crown prince or alterate prince behind this all drug ring.

I only hope Male Lead survives in this one. I have my hopes up.

I think you are right. The Emperor, seem to be Emperor in name only.
I don't think he can do anything . Yet, he managed to flee the palace. The fact that he was always very obedient, might have gave him some play. When I heard the Head Eunuch asking Pring Gao ji to rebel, I knew the Leads would have a hard time to deal with all the Palace attendants.
They will have to be good at deception.

The leads are in torn between duty and desire from the begining.
I have no idea how this drama will end.

This is my fav mini drama airing at the moment. I love their interactions.
They are both becoming powerful in their own way.

Nice surprise. I've watched it twice for the funny and quirky moments. Low budget but cute and entertaining.

The dumbest is the lawyer. Bringing hitmen and danger to FL.
He was the one Ga Seong Yeong followed to get where she is now.
He could have made his moves cleverly. Use cypher and contract mercenaries maybe.

At this point of time, it is possible. The situation is very unclear about what the Chairman prepared before his death.

She is a typical Marie Sue : when they are in love, from heroes they become zeros.
Typical.
To me she is not weak but she becomes dumb.
