I personnally did not watch squid game. I heard about it few years ago. I did not chose to watch it because it was not interesting enough to my taste. But I understand why a lot of people like it. And I accept the fact that it is done with a high budget for CGI, filming sets and crew fees. So people find it great.

In your opinion, because you like intelligent dramas. But some viewers like those easy watch with big budget. So I am not suprised by this success.

This is why it's always nice to give the drama room to settle the plot. This drama has a very complex plot but the outcome is really good, enjoyable and interesting. To me this drama is one of the bests so far because it kept me interested until the very end.
