I was going to start this one but started reading the comments about the FL. Is she that bad?
I really liked in ep 15 when FL once again threatens ML with the divorce and he leaves her on the spot. Her expression is priceless. Did she finally understood that he could abandon her?
FL is childish when she mentions divorce everytime and has a fit everytime. She is starting to annoy me.
Yes, he spoke about divorce on their wedding night because those two people hate each other from the start. They were never a true couple.
ML threatened her with his sword to stop the bridal procession so that she could flee and refuse the marriage.
And at first, FL refused to take her sister's place (after her sister eloped with Han Shi Yuan). Because she wants to be an official detective. Finally, when she saw that her family was facing destruction for obstructing a royal decree, she unwillingly agreed to marry ML.
It is not like, she was willing too marry ML and ML forced her to divorce. She did not want to marry him in the first place. Those two people hate each other from the very beggining. So they agreed to divorce.

About the divorce they agreed. It is not Male Lead who forced her. She even put her life on the line if ever she could not succed in finding the culprit. Nobody forced her. She also previously did put her life on the line when they met first. As she was suspected of murder attempt on Lai Luo Zhi. She then also swore that she could find the culprit.
It's FL's fault in my opinion. She chose to react like this. She is quick to speak about divorce. Despite the fact that she has marital rights and the world is watching her every move. She is bringging shame to her family by feadind rumors. If she really wanted to divorce, she should have put the new girl (Yun Que) at her place. And then manage the inquiry, and then divorce. As they agreed. Not have a fit everytime like she is doing. She is profesionally a clever clerk, but is personally a dumb woman. She clearly does not value her reputation and her family's reputation.
I would never let a random girl step on me like that. And bring shame to my family like she does, if I was a married woman in her era.
