Yes, it is worth watching. To date this drama is my absolute best. It is so well written. There is a lot to discover at several levels. The pace is good. You will not be bored. Like @ReginaDeSa said it is a masterpiece which combines several artistic languages to convey feelings in a for of plot. You can go for it. You might like it.
My personal opinion.. I think s2 is deserving of the lower ratings because it is really not as good as the first.…
Yes, me too. I wish Hong Jiang would have surrendered. First of all, when I did not see him on the battlefield, and I learned about the impersonation. I thought that Hong Jiang fled and left Xiang Liu to his death. At that point of time, I regreted that : 1) Hong Jiang did not surrender. 2) Xiang Liu did not flee. His last battle was so tragic. Althought he had several possibilities to survive/flee. But he chose to seek the glorious death of a general : the battlefield.
there are always two sides of viewers - the complainers and non-complainer, despite on how well executed or not…
True, that would be great to give the drama a chance. Some people are so categorical. Some don't even watch the first episode but they give bad reviews. It is just sad.
Was looking forward to see my fave leads but this is not my cup of tea. Dropping after 10mins💔
I understand you. The first 2 episodes were boring to me. I gave it a chance and from episode 3, when all the backgrounds of the characters are shown and when the story beggins, it becomes better and better.
A lot of viewers are complaining about clichés/ tropes.
Tropes are like good relish recipes. There is a lot of them out there, but you still comeback to your favourite. And the relish doesn't define the dish.

I never watch LLTG but now I am curious. Thanks for your little review.
I don't know her yet.
That's why he was devasteted when he knew about her death.
Ahhhhh human nature....

=> I love tropes when they are well executed.
