She is maybe simply jealous of Jiang Li. Jiang Li was reported to be the best Lady of her hometown for her music, beauty and kindness. She had a lot of marriage proposals. This is petty jealousy.
She wanted him because he was hers. He is like a trophy. Don't you see that she never respected him?

The leads were separated by schemes so the supporting role had more screen time.( to settle the plot) But they will soon reunite.

I think that the princess Wanning is King Chen's sister.
She might be a relative to the former king. Or something like this.

I as overjoyed at the end of the drama. I was even clapping at the last scene.
I frankly loved it. I aknowledge some slowpaced plot twists and turns at the beginning.
However, once eveything is settled. It was delightful to watch.
I was waiting for the next episode to come-out every week
I might rewatch it in the future.

Yes they solved the majors plot points. And I loved the drama. You should be satisfied. I loved the ending aswell :')

You might be right. He is on a road to self destruction. I know he did bad things but this would be sad . Even tragic

Yes he is a global legend. I live in europe and I am a fan of his.
This is the very first time I was sad to see a killer in a movie and I was rooting for him not to do it. . He made it happen. He is such a great actor :)

Clearly. The emperor should consider himself lucky for having Jiang Li on his side. She is amazing and almost doesn't need his help. That alone makes her mor valuable than a "pawn".
