How's the situation in Weibo? Any chance Youku will get pressured to release earlier?

It only feels dragging because we have to wait days for the new episodes.
The pacing is still good.

I remember LBFAD having 'special episodes/ epilouge'. Turns out only 3 minute recap, no new scenes at all..
So I don't really expect much from this news.

ahhh, I finally got it! for some time now I've been thinking the present LX reminds me of something.
He reminds me of Park Saeroyi from Itaewon Class! the hair, the style, they got similar vibes.
Also they are going thru the same struggle, both went to prison, both fights with the same confidence and steadfast determination and goals.
The only difference is LX is more rude and sharp tongued haha

He tried to justify it with many words during his talk with the dancer friend. But for me, it's just overflowing jealousy. It's already seen in their University days that he doesn't handle jealousy well. And now, it is not just jealousy but mixed in with all other emotions, no wonder he lashed out.

You guys asking for LX to suffer finally gets it. haha
The thing with LX's character is his form of suffering is not acting and looking pathetic.
Him lashing out and breaking his cool and indifferent facade is literally him suffering.
He really knows how to cut with words.lol

Youku is really bad 😩, they released that Ep28 trailer and now I have 4days to simmer on my frustration with Gao and FZJ.
still hoping they change the scheduling and surprise us with early release.

IKR, my blood boils everytime I see both of them claiming L&P as their own.

them shaking hands and agreeing to be 'common colleague' kinda made me sad,
I prefer LX lashing out because now it feels he finally accepted and gave her up to painter guy.

Luckily we know they'd get back together soon.

haha I guess it's personal taste.. I really like the matured look and his new style (sweatshirts and bomber jackets).

The rewatch value for this is so high. I'm considering paying for Viki subscription just to get the better subs there.
I believe we missed a lot of context because Youku subs are not so good.

It's really interesting to see how we (viewers) process things differently. 😊 There are those like you that rallies a lot for ZY's feelings, as if it is an open wound that needs to be bandaged by LX's apology and suffering.

Trust me, I'm also a sucker for angsty stories where ML intentionally/unintentionally hurts FL, regrets it, suffers and grovels. But the 'noble idiocy' that LX did in this story is particularly logical and reasonable for me. Yes, he did hurt ZY but the only other option is to hurt her even more. ZY would have been more miserable if he didn't break up with her, and considering how much she's willing to stay by his side against all odds, LX knows the only way to sever their ties is to break her heart. The very reason LX hurt her intentionally is because he knows she's loyal and big hearted, and that's the only way to make her leave.

I truly don't understand this desire to see LX suffer more, thankfully we didn't get a lot of episodes about his prison life, I'm pretty sure his life there is no less harder than ZY's life with depression abroad. Not that it even matters, but if you step back farther to view things, who's fault is it that LX got dragged into FZJ's mess?
ZY's heart was broken, but so does LX's heart and on top of that he lost literally everything.
Like what else do we want to see happen to LX, he already cried in prison. Do we wanna see him beg and cry now? Behind his grumpiness he's already suffering from jealousy and sadness thinking she'd moved on.


So for me, I'm not so hang up into hearing LX say sorry, because as audience and even ZY, we know that he already paid the price for 'what he'd done to ZY'. The sorry is just a formality, their own understanding on what went down between them is already beyond such formalities. And everything is so far really consistent with the characterization.

I totally agree. One factor that captivates me on this story is their natural progression. Unlike most dramas, there are no 'eureka/dramatic scenes' of them realizing their feelings.
Like we watch them grow from strangers to rivals to friends to close friends to lovers. All throughout there were no-labeling, the lines between each stages were blurry and honestly it didn't even occur to me to question at which point their relationship was shifting. Yet the amazing thing is, their whole relation progress even with the lack of formalities is so believable, as if it was just the most natural thing.

So yeah, I totally get you that there is no need to break down their relationship into defined steps (like having LX say sorry first, then ZY forgives, then this, then that).

I really love ZhuYun's style, specially her coats. I hope someone makes a compilation also with links.

After tomorrow it will be another agonising 4 days of waiting. How I wish they release all episodes at once, I'm even willing to pay for advance streaming now.

Xu Lina is really something. Can't believe she actually thinks LiXun will accept being her boy-toy.
