Tbh i watch BL but i also don't want it end with bong hwan soul travel back in the future and meet the future king there, tho i saw someone comment about choi joon hyuk (bong hwan actor) said in interview that he was actually the queen reincarnation in the future, and he also posted a photo as bong hwan waking up in the hospital bed, but we still never knew how it's gonna end, so far the korean version is totally different from the chinese version and the novel version in term of the characters personalities, backgrounds and relationship, if follow the novel or chinese version hwa jin supposed to be prince youngpyeong's wife and had affair with the king but the king actually didn't love hwajin at all he just used her family power to gained support bc he was in the middle of fighting for the emperor position with his other brother, remember when i told you in novel the emperor character was a shitty d-bag scum low-life man? In chinese drama they just tone it down a bit a but but still same lol and kim byeong in character supposed to be a king's brother who fight for the throne and empress' love with the king, the point is the korean version make a lot of changes and make it even better than the original version imo, let's hope they make a different and good ending too :D

After i watched the chinese drama version (both endings) and read the novel ending, i wonder how they gonna end this shows....



[SPOILER!!! ENDING FOR CHINESE DRAMA VERSION AND NOVEL]





In the first version ending of the drama, the emperor and the empress left the palace and let their son ascended as a young emperor (eventhough he's still young he is pretty much a very capable young emperor) to live in a countryside, the emperor and the empress got another baby, live a leisure happy life untill the empress birthday, the emperor surprised the empress with a big heart flower bed in the garden, the empress went to look and playing around in the flower bed suddenly got stabbed by a sword the emperor run to take the dying empress in his arm, heart broken then he got brutally killed by bunch of assasins, they both died, then a scene from future came to the light, zhang peng (the empress male soul real body/identity) woke up in hospital bed then went to a pool and jumped, he travelled back to a place and time when he transmigrated as an empress but now as himself, wandering around the countryside house and palace alone reminiscing his memory as an empress, then the end, not clear whether zhang peng died in the pool and those scenes about him went back as himself wandering around alone in the past was just his imaginations before he died for a 2nd time as he desperately wanted to go back to the past to meet the emperor again because he missed him, i think this kind of ending happened because of the chinese censorship, since it's obviously a bl romance and they have to tone it down lol

The chinese drama 2nd ending almost the same as the 1st one, the difference was they cut the bloody scene where the empress and the emperor tragically got killed by bunch of assasins and went straight to the future, but this time zhang peng didn't went to a pool, after he woke up from his coma, zhang peng frantically running around in the hospital hall, yelling calling out the emperor name then he stop as he saw a familiar figure, he went close and tap the man dressed as adoctor shoulder.....and yup the doctor was the emperor, they both look at each other intensely (the typical lingering eyes deeply staring at eo) then the end, this was supposed to be a "happy ending" bc zhang peng reunited again with the emperor

The novel ending, the emperor and the empress live for another 20 years after winning the battle in palace, the empress received a news the emperor died when he was hunting for the empress birthday (in the novel the empress goals when the emperor died was to live peacefully as an empress dowager, collecting all the beauties and have a secret male lover to fulfill her "needs" since the empress enjoy the bed activity with the emperor before he died lol) but in reality the empress cannot do all of her plan bc she was so heart broken after the emperor died to the point she was sick and bedridden, 2 months later still prostrate in grief and bedridden, the empress found out that she was pregnant at that age, when she didn't know what to do after she knew she was pregnant at that age, the next day the emperor return to the palace like nothing happened, still alive, breathing in the oxygens, turns out the emperor death was a fake and and just a "surprise" bc the emperor wanted to see the empress reactions if he died and being the empress dowager (fyi the emperor character in the novel is not lovable at all, he's a real big jerk, bastard, scum low-life man always hurt the empress, he trully didn't deserve love and the empress tbh -_-) the empress just startled and get back to the emperor with her pregnancy news, then the end, no one died, and they lived happily ever after,

P.s. : in the novel the emperor knew it someone else' soul in the empress body

Ahhh yeah i get what you mean lol but once i saw a fan edited photo of song weilong as hua cheng with an eye patch on and a long hair down, darn i am convinced that he is hua cheng when i look at that image XD

I can't wait to see all the casts for this drama :D ......tho i still hope they were gonna casts song weilong as hua cheng :')

Wait the director invited neo hou to be cast in tgcf drama adaptation????? If neo hou was confirmed to play xie lian i have a big expectation about this drama adaptation i watched neo hou drama when we were young he's a good actor imo i love his acting and i think neo hou fits xie lian character also i watched him in let go of my baby and he was drag as woman in the last episode of the show darn he's soooo beautiful so i think he is really a good choice to play xie lian in tgcf drama adaptation :D

For hua cheng i think song weilong fits for the role but i don't see his name on the video

In the book there's a secret language/code that used between the rebellion group donghak scribed along the book paragraph, since kim byeong in didn't know that book was in the king's hand before so i think he believed the queen is part of donghak group

Mother(fucker)in-law started rumors that the queen pregnant with someone else or the pregnacy was lie, and the grand queen dowager wanted the queen's head, the king wanted to protect the queen even if it costs his life.....please tell me they're not gonna make the queen and the king both die in the end........i cannot afford another heart break like scarlet heart :'(

I think it depends on who was the director and the scriptwriter, take a look at hikaru no go chinese adaptation tho it's not from a danmei novel but we can agree on the director shipping the 2 main leads so much many people believe it was another chinese censored romance series lol i hope hob got a good director, great scriptwriter and amazing casts too :D

That's good to hear TTATT my heart shrank when i heard meatbun said that hyx is not related to 2ha, after the meng xishi incident whenever i heard something from the novel writer didn't acknowledge the drama adaptation i am very nervous that the adaptation is gonna be dissapointing :( i just hope hyx won't dissapoint me much :')

Really? They passed? I heard they didn't passed the first censorship and they have to changed it into BG drama if they want the drama to airs in april also because of this issue meatbun the novel writer said on weibo that hyx is not related to 2ha and hyx is an independent project indicating that it's okay to turn hyx into BG drama and they don't have to heavily implied ranwan relationship in the drama since ranwan is not canon at all in hyx (to passed the censorship) so novel fans won't be dissapointed if the drama aired and they chop/changed so much the story from the novel and changed some characters background and their relationship in the drama :( and don't forget about a big number of lyx fans that demanding lyx character (cwn) to have a BG romance in the drama after meatbun said hyx is not related to 2ha and the insider from hyx production team said they gonna make shimei as cwn love interest in the drama -_- idk if this rumor was true or not (about shimei and cwn) but looking back at how cql got the same hate and rumors before even airing their 1st episode then later they proven in the end with that massively success adaptation i still got my hope for hyx tho it is sad that we won't gonna see those ranwan moments from the leaked photos and clips in the drama :'D

In the real history actually the grand queen dowager was the one who adopted the king, the queen dowager was the king sister in-law, but in this series they made the queen dowager as the king adopted mother instead but this history changes plot kinda giving me a hope that they won't killed the king at the end......hopefully :'D

FAN CHENGCHENG AS JIANG CHENG?!!! OWOWOW I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH THIS ONE!!!!!!

After baek soo jung manager ratted yeon joo to the detectives later yeon joo handled the problem quickly in police station and the manager changed his story and took the blame himself (admitting he was the one that killed baek soo jung) goo mi rae realized that she had a crush on han woo sung and tried to win him despite her fear of yeon joo because she think she can get whatever she wants in this world because she's rich, near the end of ep 10 yeon joo met mr ma at a small shady(?) publishing company after she finished her business at the police station, han woo sung followed her because she rejected him to go back home with him

I guess netflix really live up to their meme reputation..... i heard there is season 2 coming up in 2022 but i don't know if i want to watch their 2nd season after i watched this season

As expected from netflix adaptation, they changed quite a lot of stuffs haaaaaa..... seems like they wanted to make hyun and eun yoo as a couple in the series (≖_≖ ) BUT for webtoon reader HYUN AND JISU WILL FOREVER BE THE END GAME!!! Tho i like jisu with jaeheon relationship in the series but hyun and jisu deserves their original development and ending!!!!!!! Damnit!!!!!

I have a question, on the first episode after the wife gone, a new (?) couple neighbor visited the husband and they gave him a letter which was from N31 that told him he broke the deal so they gonna kill the wife there's also the wife's nail too and it happened when there are police officers there watched that couple visited and gave him the letter but for some reason the police didn't suspect the neighbor who gave him a letter from the kidnapper, they don't even interogate the couple or ask them anything related to the letter from N31 why is that????? Am i missing something here????? How??? Why????? -_____-

WOWWW MARVELOUS!!!!!!! Now this is what you called an adaptation!!!!!! Magnifique!!! Magnifique!!!! MAGNIFIQUE!!!!!!!

I think this is the only movie i had watched that let a human living villain to win at the end of the movie, very disturbing, i bet yeong sook definitely gonna kill seo yeon at very last or perhaps there might be a sequel? But honestly i learn so hard from this movie about letting go the past......also i wish human will never ever ever ever invented time machine in the future!!!!
