I can't wait for the express package and at the same time I have mixed feelings about Love's Ambition coming to an end. I'm already rewatching while waiting for new episode.

I love the slow pace, sceneries and interaction between ordinary people. They're simple and happy, grateful for what they have. Thank you Zhao Lusi for letting me to see a glimpse of your journey. Love its peaceful and healing vibe!

I rated this drama the same, gave it a 9. Despite its flaws, this drama kept me entertained and I managed to finish 30 episodes. My first Song Wei Long's drama and he looked fabulous in braids and western costumes. The main leads' romance is not rushed and well done with enough angsts. I also like side characters, the other couples. Love the OSTs.

Finished ep 1 and I really enjoyed it. The plot is interesting and different, love WAY's acting. You can rate each episode by clicking on episode guide and rate it.

I have friends and family members watching TSOPG on Netflix, they don't have MDL, IMDb and most of them are not active on social media. Here in the US, the last 5 episodes were released today.

It's not Duan Wu but Su Muzhe, same person but different journey in the second half. Su Muzhe had to use her brain and wit to overcome adversities, she couldn't afford being reckless, to act first without thinking like Duan Wu. We grow up, act differently, being more cautious on what we say and do, nothing bland about learning and being wiser!

TSOPG is a serious drama, not a lighthearted and fluffy one. The jewelry making business in the second half of the drama is interesting to me but others may find it boring. I also like that TSOPG doesn't follow the typical tropes, 'love at first sight' and a 'damsel in distress' waiting for a knight in shining armor to rescue her every time. It's refreshing for a change!

Even though the director wanted a realistic ending, he could have done it differently. The imperial physician could have found a formula to slow down Yan Zijing's poison to give him more time while the physician continued looking for the right antidote. If the witch doctor thought he had the formula for the antidote and was working on it when he was killed, couldn't the imperial physician do it too?

I rewatched episode 40 and teared up throughout the whole episode, I even felt sorry for Cui Shi Jiu. And you're right, I tried to slow down my watch but ended up watching 5 episodes in one go when TSOPG first aired on Nov 1st.

I've seen people asking if TSOPG is worth watching and the answer is YES! Even though this drama is binge worthy but I'd recommend not to because you'll miss the nuances and its central messages. At the heart of this drama is the characters' journeys and their life goals, how they navigate and survive by staying true to themselves and do not deviate from their true intentions.
