Fah was engaged to Pat but she cheated with a con artist who impregnated her because she felt lonely When she realized he had just been conning her and never intended to marry her or take responsibility for their baby, she decided to kill him so she wrote a letter to her parents because she had guessed she might get killed : in her letter, she asked forgiveness to her parents and Paat for her mistakes (forcing Paat to marry her when he loved Nin, cheating, making her parents lose money due to her lover’s conning and shaming them with her cheating, being conned and finally ; being about to leave them with a painful death) and also asked her to not blame Nin because in the end it wasn’t her fault if Paat couldn’t love her even after they got married but hers because she had forced him to marry her Paat was the father of Nin’s baby

Everyone loved her and spoiled her all her life, I don’t see why she had to hold on to Pat who wasn’t in love with her while on the hand, Nin had been neglected, ignored and mistreated all of her life In my opinion, this wasn’t about wanting someone to love her, she simply couldn’t stand the idea of losing for the first time in her life, especially to Nin whom she had looked down all her life
