I watched the original, that’s not how it happens. Peem (Nawa in the original) isn’t her first choice. A lot of things had happened between her and the male lead but at this point of this story, it is clear that the one she loves is Anon (Techit in the original) and that she only feels friendship and gratefulness for Nawa/Peem. But because of a shitty writing, she gets engaged with him out of gratefulness and because she doesn’t want to hurt him. However, when Techit/Anon was forced to get engaged with her friend, she was clearly sad. And on her own engagement day, Peem/Nawa found her crying while holding on to a gift that Techit/Anon had offered her. When she realized Nawa/Peem had found her, she asked him to let her « miss Techit » one last time. So I think that it is pretty clear that Nawa/Peem was not her « first choice » and that Techit/Anon was the one she loved, not just a consolation prize. But there were misunderstandings and a bad screenwriting job, which is also why the screenwriters felt the need to kill Nawa/Peem to clear the way for the leads (would have been better to let him give them his blessings but then, like I said, bad writing). If Techit/Anon wasn’t the one she really loved, she wouldn’t have gotten with him so soon after Nawa/Peem’s death
So since she’s returning to her original world, what’s gonna happen to male lead now ? Hope he’s gonna regret deep, because I honestly still don’t like for having unfairly been mean to the female lead and having never apologized for having treated her like she stole the other JXY’s life (he even told her that bringing back the original JXY was more important to him than her life, URGH !)
Something tells me FL is never getting a proper apology : she didn’t even get one from her colleagues for the video thing, and I bet she’s not gonna get one from the ML (he’s probably gonna have a realization « hey ! Actually I found out I like you and I don’t care about everything else, let’s be together » and she’s gonna like « I like you too even though you’ve been awful to me and I won’t ask you to apologize » and the show is gonna let his awful behavior slide and the fact that he made her staying in this unknown world even more difficult than it already is) As soon as I’ve seen Zhang Ke Ai, I’m dropping this, this is so annoying (unless he apologized but that’s unlikely)

You don't get why Lisa gets all the hate ? She murdered her adopted mom, and stole her best friend's identity, and this had nothing to do with a desire for a mom and a family : all Lisa wants is wealth to satisfy her vanity and her jealousy towards Anda. From the beginning of the story, she showed she was cruel, vain, materialistic and jealous. She and Anda were raised together as best friends but she eventually let go of her friendship towards Anda out of jealousy because everyone liked Anda and because she's a rich heiress She killed her adopted mom in a fit of rage she was okay with selling herself when she was still an orphan to gain money And she's basically bullying Anda and making attempts on her life. And she has no excuse or explanation as to why she became so evil : she and Anda had basically the same life. She wasn't more mistreated than anyone else So basically, people hate her because she's jealous and cruel
