Nope ! At some point, female lead’s sister will suffer a blow and their mom will totally blame in on Ning Er’s bad reputation and yell at her as usual and Xie Wei will kinda put her back in her place by pointing at her she’s being a biased shrew (not in those words though)
I wonder if they’ll keep everything like the original I hope not because his new wife is such a manipulative gold digger, she does not deserve to get his love a second time

Thé novel and the drama ain’t so different… Honestly, I wouldn’t call him a red flag… Sure, he’s no angel and he can be scary but that’s how morally grey characters are… Some people just want PERFECT/SAINT leads… Personally I like leads who have flaws and can be a bit bad… it seems to give them a REAL personality… I just don’t see why all leads absolutely have to be morally flawless (sure there are some flaws I can’t tolerate in some characters but Xie Wei presents none of these Some even said he was a rapist in the novel : lol, as someone who HATES rapist and toxic male leads AND who has read the novel, I can personally attest that Xie Wei is neither a rapist nor a toxic partner to the woman he loves… he’s not flawless but he will definitely treat the woman he loves right !
In the novel, does Zhang Zhe get jealous in the second life?
Not really… He still loves Xue Ning… But the pains from the previous life stop them from being together So I think he kinda considers he had no right to be jealous of someone who’s not his, since he gave up on being with her on his own

The drama was actually confirmed Only it was a confirmed by an unknown company which is in financial troubles so this is why we won’t get this before a few years (until some other company buys the adaptation rights). But technically speaking, MDL had no reason to refuse to put this drama back then
first episode was solid.. the lead male was weak IMO.. max or pond should have been the lead in this.
Yeah… I’m a fan of his yet even I think that the other two second male leads shine brighter than him after watching only two episodes… He’s a good actor but he can be a bit lacking in terms of charisma sometimes
I’m glad because they did give Anon more depth than in the original (like his trauma with his mom and his desire to make his dad proud to then see his mom) and also to give him sweet scenes with Anda (like how they bound over their body scars)
