A happy ending. Khemiorn decides to stay in the past out of love for Luang. But because they found a way to make some communications between the past and the present, her family knows she’s alive and well, just not in their timeline

Okay, I couldn’t help it : I’ve read the novel. Petra Naruemit is the title of a magical song. To not spoil too much , yes, there is a connection between that song and Petra the character : let’s just say this song was written with the purpose of creating a connection between the past and the present and the song was named like because it was written with the purpose of reaching Petra the character
Another drama with a ML who’s sick in his treatment towards his female lead, when you don’t see how and when they fell and how how could give this a happy ending Also, strange double standard because you have one character who’s a rapist and presented as a monster in consequence but then you have the ML who’s also a rapist and you don’t why, but it’s okay for him 😓 Also the ML blames his dad for having been a violent man and a player but he behaves no better than him and yet, somehow for him, this is forgivable but not for his dad. 🤮
I usually dont really enjoy drama with weak FL. so it's strange that i can enjoy this one. Not that enjoyable…
I don’t think the FL is weak. She’s just realistic. And she does have strength, but a silent one. Mistreatment and belittlement are all that she’s ever known in her life so it’s no surprise if she doesn’t even try to resist since she knows nothing else : however, she does her best to survive through her difficult days. Unlike many mistreated female leads, she never cries when her persecutors mistreat her, never lowers herself to beg them for mercy and doesn’t spend long time crying and lamenting over her sad fate. Moreover, she’s not some stupid doormat who will show unnecessary care, kindness, love or optimism towards those who mistreat her, like many female leads who will help the nang rai who just slapped her to get up and even ask her worryingly « are you okay ? » when she falls (ex : Ngao Asoke) or keep telling to a half/step-sister who mistreats them « Oh, big sis, I love you anyway, we’re family, how could I hate or blame you, I know you’re a good person (ex : Hua Jai Sila, Jam Loey Rak…). So, yes, she doesn’t give big kicks or punches like some of those female leads who are no more than rude tomboys but that doesn’t mean she’s weak : being able to survive in silence through all sorts of abuse, physical and verbal, for more 20 years and to not let your persecutors completely destroy you until you’re finally able to get out of this hell and to reach out happiness is definitely a type of strength
I don't think there is any thai lakorn without having any slap kiss or rape scene 😑
Yes, there is but you have to look for these (although slap and kiss or rape are a big part of Thai dramas, it’s a cliche to think that all of their dramas are only like that)
So… the last two episodes were more fillers… Moreover, the villains obviously brought their sins on a whole new level and to not see them punished yet… all of this feels very frustrating… What feels even more frustrating is… THE PREVIEW FOR THE NEXT TWO EPISODES THAT JUST KEPT ME ON EDGE AFTER THOSE TWO DISAPPOINTING EPISODES !!! 😭😭😭 Because 1) I’ve heard these were gonna be the last episodes 2) it seems that Jom is gonna receive his karma for having brought their marital fight to the mafia (serves him right ! Just a trashy disloyal husband no better than a pimp and he wanted to play with the big boys of the mafia to get revenge on his wife ; not only this is despicable after what he did to her, but he obviously overestimates himself) and there’s a chance that Prae and Prai might… let’s say, cross the line between them (and become husband and wife de facto 😁)
Khemiorn (Mookda), a girl from modern times, finds herself time traveling under the Rattanakosin era. There, she meets Luang Rachamontri (Michael), the most admired man in the kingdom, who falls at first sight for her and turns out to be her soulmate.
First, Prai says to Jom « If you think I’m gonna let this, you just… » (didn’t understand what comes next, but basically, he’s warning Jom he’s not gonna leave his ass alone) Then Sia and Jom talk : Sia : Naewprai, Anansiri’s son in law ? Jom : Yes, Sia. This is my enemy ! We then see Nuan talking to Jom telling him « ever since I have a little guy in here (her belly), I’ve been missing you. This is probably not my feelings only : it must be because of the child’s feelings
Then, Lee is yelling at Jom : Your wife is about to have a new husband/man, know this, you cow/stupid ! (In Thai language, when people want to mock someone for being stupid, they compare him/her to a cow, because a cow is supposedly stupid). Just to be clear, This sentence can be understood in two ways : -either Lee really means that Prae will literally soon have Prai as a new husband -either she means that Prae is about to become lover with Prai and sleep with him ; in thai culture, when a man and a woman have sex together, they are said to be « husband and wife » (and usually, considered as such), even if they’re not legally married ; I know, this is kinda weird (so don’t be surprised if you see a character say « I’m your wife/husband ! » or « you’re my wife/husband » to someone just because they slept together) And finally, we see Jom telling Prae with a look of threat « I told you, … » and sorry, couldn’t catch the rest
I’m confused why JOM won’t divorce her after all shit he’s done why put her through that bullishit again…
Very simple : he wants her money. Such things as « after everything he’s put her through » don’t enter his eyes because someone like him will never take anyone but himself in his own account.
Why ?In my opinion, this is the best adaptation of the novel (I totally prefer it to the 2008 version)
It’s really good. I can only advise you to keep watching over YouTube if the series is uploaded again (which I think will end up happening anyway : this story is way too popular and there is always someone who ends up uploading it, even if it’s taken down a few months later). I’ll send you a PM if I see it happening !
Do you think jom is accompliced for thé prae kidnapping ?
Weirdly enough, yes and no If I understood well, there were two planned kidnappings : -Yuanta planned to have her kidnapped with Nuan, Lee and Jaegun’s help, to have her sold, raped or something like that. They came first and succeeded -but what they didn’t know is that Jom had also planned to have Prae kidnapped with the help of Sia, Nuan’s former sugar daddy, some sort of mafia boss. But when the mafia boss’s men arrived, Prae had already been kidnapped And I don’t know how, but somehow, it seems that Jom is gonna get Prae back and kept her as a hostage with Sia’s help to threaten her into giving up the divorce So if I understood well, two kidnappings were planned on poor Prae (she’s really surrounded by a bunch of psychos) but the two « teams » separatedly planned their own kidnapping, not knowing the other team was doing the same (and they even chose the same day, bunch of idiots) which resulted in the kidnappings that kinda got mixed up halfway. The irony of this whole situation… 😅 And poor Prae who gets kidnapped not once but twice… She must be the only one unlucky enough to be surrounded by people who reached such a level of madness (I mean, a kidnapping ?! They lost their minds now), but also to be surrounded by SEVERAL people who would reach a level of madness not only so high but so similar that they would all separately pick the same crazy idea without even knowing it 😓
The Novel endet the Same way so Don´t Hope for a Season 2 i had Hopes they Change the end and don´t Follow the…
The novel didn’t end the same way at all. The story was the same on everything, except on the ending, (actually, the novel’s ending is way better), more specifically they changed from the scene when Shen Zhen and Ruining fight on the balcony : let’s just say that this fight concludes very differently in the novel and that the afterwards is also very different in the novel
Oh. My. God. This has escalated so far. Yuanta is definitely deep into madness now (I love that scene where she looks at her wedding pictures but the picture slowly changed and what sees is a wedding picture of Prai and Prae) and she’s taking everybody with her (I can’t believe even Jaegun could see how wrong was her decision and that she was going in way too deep) Lee even allows them to hurt Prae, she’s now unredeemable. And it amazes me how Yuanta and Nuan keep blaming Prae for their misfortune when it is their own choices that brought them here. I’m just kinda annoyed because there was plenty of useless scenes in this episode and it could have gone further

Sorry, I watched it on YouTube and then bought the dvd. But the copyright laws became quite strict so whenever this gets uploaded on YouTube, it usually ends up quickly taken down (especially when the user uploads other old Lakorns) 😞
