I find it odd they are not doing much to promote this two episode spin off that's already completed.I'm going…
I'm not sure. I haven't actually seen that it's only 2 episodes anywhere apart from people saying it here. All I know is i starts on Oct 3 and it looks like it will be airing on TVing only
it’s because they are having their own spin-off so I’m assuming they’ll fall in love then
The discussion around the spinoff is that it's a romance between Gyu-hyun and Ja-yeon, so I am confident that we'll still get to see romance between them (not exactly sure how that will happen when it's set in the world of the novel, but I have faith in the writers)
Let's just hope that the next episode will start with him kissing her back and not just peck on the lips😭 Also…
Aww man, really? I haven't watched ep 7 yet and I love their scenes, so I'll be sad if it's only like five minutes. I assume they're saving the best stuff for the spinoff, though. Which is a probably a good thing, because IMO the slow burn is the best burn
Original streaming. From what I can find, this is only going to air on TVing, which is a streaming service, so it won't air on TV like NGNL (which is airing on TVN in addition to TVing)
I've scoured the internet and found the following information (please note that I don't know Korean, so the quotes are via Google Translate) about this drama: - Latest news: per Korean netizens, it's going to start airing on Oct 3. I can't find an actual article, but this is just from a few hours ago so it's pretty new. - The series is a spinoff romance between Gyu-hyun and Ja-yeon. Ja-yeon gets isekai-ed into her webnovel as the female lead (the nutritionist) and has a romance with her male lead character, the CEO Kang Ha-jun, who will be played by Lee Sang-yi and thus resemble Gyu-hyun - Kim Yeong-dae and Shin Min-a are slated to appear - No one has said anything about episode length that I could find, but the drama was filmed from March to April (as opposed to NGNL which was filmed from October to March) so it's safe to assume it's on the shorter side. The creator also said it's short. However, this is being treated as a spinoff series and not a special episode. They keep emphasizing that it's something entirely new and different compared to what other dramas have done. - In his interview with Allure Korea, Lee Sang-yi says about it: "the love between Bok Gyu-hyun and Nam Ja-yeon will unfold in a bizarre and new direction. You can look forward to it because they will show off their comic acting without any worries." - In her interview with Allure Korea, Han Ji-hyun says she cannot say much, but it is an "incredibly pleasant romance" and says that the story in the novel written by Ja-yeon actually unfolds. - It will be OTT just like NGNL is
We still don't know if he'll find out about her basing one of the leads in her smutty novel after him, it's entirely…
Yes, I think that's going to happen, since in the spinoff Lee Sang-yi will be playing the CEO character in the world of the webnovel. I don't know why else the CEO would be played by him and not Ha-jun's actor. In fact, it would be very Kdrama-like to have a scene where Ja-yeon is writing and starts picturing Gyu-hyun instead of Ha-jun, which of course makes her annoyed and confused.
Some suggest there will only be two episodes which will NOT be broadcast, nor available OTT internationally. I…
I don't know where that info is coming from, either. I've looked at the Namu wiki entry and it doesn't say anything about air date or episode number. The articles I've seen said it's going to air some time in the second half of 2024, so I think it will be broadcast. I'd also be surprised if it's only 2 eps, are there any drama series that are only 2 eps?
Because we were already spoiled with the news of their spin-off The CEO's Menu, which will air immediately following…
They don't have to destroy Ha-jun's character for us to root for her with Gyu-hyun. Kdramas will often do that, but if any drama can avoid that pitfall imo it's this one. Also, that development will happen. It's already starting to happen. Not only in this series, but there's a spinoff that will continue the development.
