Just started and since I'm not familiar with the history, I need a basic enlightenment. Someone please fill me in :D

No wonder it looked sus! I'm well-aware he doesn't do kissing scenes but I was almost almost almost believed that they, at the very least pecked. IKR, his soothing voice and smiles are enough to melt me away but his ability to ooze chemistry with his leading lady — that's something more to stay. Plus it's Fair Xing and moreso to wishing them to reunite in another project ><

Anyone who've read the webtoon past chapter 55? ><

Initially, I thought that was the case. But then most of the times she seemed preoccupied with the wish and hardly, we've ever seen her reassessing her life overall now that she's having cancer. That weirded me out. I'm not saying you can't go full-engine on work/live life to the fullest. You can. DK on the other hand, to me, she looked too 'normal' as if she's not struck with terminal illness. Personally, it's not realistic enough to me. I'd be more convinced had they slipped a moment of dejection here and there after the first ep. Even for a brief, it'd suffice imo. I'm not totally disregarding her behavioural, anyho. And this is merely a personal opinion.

I'm dropping this. The more I watch, the more I'd be confused. Majority is continuing for the chemistry but honestly, I don't even feel the romance in the air. IKR, I'm left puzzled as to whether I should laugh or not. The timing is really off or maybe it has little to back up the humour.Had they gone with 49 Days route, perhaps it would've performed better. It's unfortunate though. SIG's portrayal is neat and the script just ain't it. They should've tackled one main genre instead of two (I'm getting melo and comedy vibes here) with this wishy washy script. I'm disappointed, tbh.

Am I the only one who feels the script is slightly disjointed? First two episodes were okay though second ep had few 'off' moments. In third ep, it seemed like they were merrying-go-round the whole thing and nothing has exactly built up. And I know it's pretty early to conclude but the screenplay really felt uncoordinated/abrupt. Dong Kyung's characterization is weak/lacks presence so far. Sometimes she seemed resolute however then you'd witness her flapping around and show how she'd act upon sudden whim.

This show got me confused over the genre and speculating the ending. I don't think I'm fully ready to see the story unfolds. On the other side, PBY and SIG looked so good, more so when side by side. Like their visuals didn't come to play.

MTE! It's so easy to come off as aloof or icy cold when portraying narcissist and manga Kira has a bit of that. But Renn's rendition is endearing, intriguing and sort of propeling you to flesh him out and see what's beneath the sparkles. I loved that Asahi is the exact opposite of him yet you could see, they're quite similar to each other — being strong minded and all. Both of them aren't afraid to speak their mind and uphold each other's values. Asahi is a rarity in idol-ish dramaland and I'm glad her role was created for this show. Albeit the contrast, they are able to bridge the gap and that's refreshing to see. Agreed, there's substance within their r/s which makes me love them even more >3< it's not simply polar opposites attract each other, it's genuine 'I want to get to know you' kind of feeling. Hahaha I guess it depends on styling and who wears the shoes. Manga Kira typically wraps himself in red carpet-ish/stage dresses and has the usual lanky, slender manhwa figure so it suits him. Renn's wardrobe on the hand, is mostly the combination of pants and slightly daring top to compliment his masculine body. It would look somewhat amiss if he were to spot in long hair wig. Shoulder-length is a sweet spot for him :)

He does! Also, I think they purposely boosted Kira's extra-ness. He's sassy in manga but somewhat muted. That's basing on a few and early chapters I've read so far. It hasn't been updated in months so I wonder if drama!Kira=manga!Kira. I still love him though :3 OMG YES ever since he made appearance, I've been loving him! So unabashedly over the top yet lovable! And while he's the source of comic relief, whenever Asahi comes into picture, I just THESE TWOOOOO!!!!!!!! They get the ba-dum going ugh!!! This is spoiler....manga!Kira actually has long hair. Silky smooth, probably shy butt length.

Renn's Kira had me swerved on him in a jiff XD Funny how I hardly bat my eyes on him whilst reading the manga but now I'm totally enjoying his scenes way too much lol.

That moment when Hase finally loosened and softened to Mameshiba :') I swear this drama has a knack making you teary-eyed all of the sudden.

I accidentally saw the trailer just now. Took me by surprise because it popped up out of nowhere lol. Last time I checked, they were still filming :O

Yeah, I remember Dijun saying something along the lines. My guess is she's innately unable to perceive feelings and can only properly read surrounding from past experiences or when explained. IDK lol. I'm still early on development. Someone gotta clarify this for both of us.

Had hoped it wasn't him. Oh well, it has to be him otherwise it would kill the vibe if it turns out to be a new character. My only hope is Ruo Yu is involuntary serving him to keep his sister safe. Thank you anyway for spilling the beans for me!

Currently 22 episodes in. Is Deputy Chief a baddie? Does he has any sort of affiliation with Tianxu sect? His ambiguity is leading me on but I actually would like to think he belongs to righteous clique — it makes a refreshing take on stereotypical nice guy. On Lize, are they a bunch of demons too? I find it rather disingenuous that they're wearing masks as well and forbidden from forging r/ship with outsiders as if implying they're of different bracket and thus shouldn't mix with mortals. My safest bet is they're demons. This explains why both Sifeng and Xuanji is dealing with love tribulation — they're probably star-crossed lovers in their former lives and considering Xuanji was an immortal from Heavenly realm, this cements my speculation further. And I recall, Liuge did mention Yun'er is a half-demon. Initially, I assumed it's Yun'er's mom but now I'm shifting towards the other side of coin. Although to be fair, from what Ting Nu said, Sifeng is might just a Heavenly immortal and wasn't ~just meant to be with Xuanji. The pacing is nice but the itty-bitty details they slowly disclose is honestly making my mind wildin' lol. Another thing, is celestial Xuanji devoid of six senses too? Anyone remember in which episode I'd be getting backstory on Golden Bird?
