It has been a minute since a good taiwanese bl came out, so I'm really glad I actually loved these two first episodes.
The plot is intriguing enough and the cinematography is satisfying to look at; plus the two leads seems to have a great chemistry. My hopes with this drama are getting higher.

I downloaded the episodes, but I only have the italian hardsubs version (if you're okay with those, dm me, I'll find a way to share the eps with you).

There are some shots of Liu Yi that are genuinely stunning.
I'd say the dramatic scenes are the best, the comedy is a bit awkward at times. Still very much invested in the whole story.

Sameee, at first I thought they were gonna be the classic hiding but green flags gay couple who was gonna, like, "mentor" the main leads, but damn I couldn't have been more wrong.

I wouldn't ever imagine they'd do another drama together, but I'm so happy about it!! I adored Love in The Moonlight, they are both so good at acting and their chemistry is over the roof.
Flower Boy's teaser looks promising, I'm intrigued and def left me wanting to know more about the two leads + their story.

This is probably gonna be one of my most anticipaed bl drama (and hoping it will be released before next year).

A very weak beginning is usually a deal breaker for most (including me) so really idk their thoughts process.

Let's hope they decided to butcher the start so that they don't have to ruin the end sigh. I'll try to push through these first five episodes and then decide if to stuck around or not.
I was really anticipating this, so finger crossed 🤞🏼

I don't know if it's the writing or the directing/editing choices, but this drama isn't flowing like it should.
I still have to finish the 2nd episode, but so much already happened and even if I barely know these people, they keep introducing new characters.
The change between scenes are weird af and the whole thing feels disconnected; the wuxia fights are barely okay + the color grading is,,, plain to say the least.

Honestly the only thing I'm enjoying for now is the acting of the two main leads, which is sad bc the premise was kinda interesting.
If the editing doesn't get better, I don't know how much I'll be able to stuck around even if Zhou Yiran's acting (and the fl's too) is pretty commendable.
