Honestly? The plot could have been way better and there was no need to let the movie end like this (cause for sure we're getting a second movie after the post credit scene). Like atp do a second season if u want to complicate things this much ðŸ˜
(plus I may be weak but after everything jack & joker + their friends went through, I think adding again such heavy trauma onto all of them wasn't really that necessary ngl)
But I do love and respect the actors a lot, they really did the best job they could, especially yin and war, their acting was good. It was a good watch overall (everyone don't be scared and watch it, yes you will suffer, but there's still hope by the end).
I thought the worse thing they could do to us this episode was ThamePo breakup, but they managed to prove me wrong and shatter my heart even further?? Fuck ðŸ˜
I fear I may have to go and read the novel bc these two have me on a chokehold, but they arent giving me enough of their story together, like give me more!! As usual I've only saw the performances on yt and not the whole episode yet, but for now my favorites were the Bad News group idk I really liked their performance. They had a solid performace, Hikaru looks like he belong on stage and I liked his dancing. Dongdon ate his rapping part. The others did very well too!! Loved the vocal parts from Gordon and Pray's rapping. But honestly every group did pretty well?? Group A was cute - they did great, I liked Peat. Omar was shining. Also it's impressive how fast Aguan is improving. I was pleasantly surprised by Ok, ok, ok, they had a solid dance's break? Also KK and Jiahao had very nice vocals. Group Hard to Say had obv the nicest vocal out of everyone, like there's no way u have a chance against Yuchen and Duy unless you're Thi-O. Rexy was also a nice discovery, he's good. In group Attention, what can I say, Ninja slayed tf out of the stage. Yetao was donwright hypnotizing and I loved WhyLucas's voice - his dancing tho,, you can do it man I believe in you. The performance itself was a bit chaotic tho.
Tbh I can't wait for Thi-O's group and I also greatly anticipate Dorn & Zihao's group. Hope everyone will do this well even next episode!

I dont think the r*pe actually happened, but Kotoha DID try to force Megumi into it until she got triggered by the plushie, that's why she apologised. From what I understood, Kotoha kind of dissociate after being triggered, but she didn't assault Megumi any further. I did appreciated her apologising to Megumi tho since what she did was still awful. Did not appreciated the part where Megumi glossed over her apology tho (joking telling she didn't dislike it), I would have prefer her acknowledging it and accepting the apology (if she did want to forgive Kotoha).

I do appreciate how strict the mentors are cause it's actually constructive criticism. Bambam and the8 did a really good job reviewing the rules and challenges of the previous shows. I was kind of surprised at seeing the ranking from the voters at the end of the episode, but oh well 😠There are a few trainees I really hope will make it after the first cut. Which I suppose will happen a week after the live stages? It's gonna be interesting to see which 5 trainees of class A will be captains, I always liked more group challenges.
This is gonna be very unique in it's genre, ngl the aesthetic is immaculate, i LOVE it, it's very new gen z style but also it still has some kind of retro vibes somehow? The kids interactions are awkward as I expected lmao it feels real, that is what teenagers' flirting looks like. Curious to see how things will evolve ✨
