Well, I think it's Kawin who asks, when they're trying to plan the heist, if they think maybe they're being set…
Lmfaooo well yeah Sun's luck is sure something π Peace my sweet child he will definitely do everything he can to get Sun out of trouble I already know, but I have the dreading feeling that's gonna end badly for both of them- (but the softie in me is still hoping for a good ending somehow π).
I mean... Idk, I don't think they can use that knife for anything else than blackmail Sun or just plainly set him up as the murderer, so we will see which route they'll go lmao. More than a threat... I think everyone sees him as a nuisance that's causing trouble and making everyone losing money, so they want him /gone/. And we both know Sun won't ever stop causing trouble to his enemies unless he's dead so π (also maybe they're worried that since Sun's dad was so loved, the people of the city could side with him and help him rebel against them? Idk people in power tend to go crazy paranoid at some point).
Jihoon is planning to get everyone out of his way tbh he's the scariest kid between them I fear and he's definitely playing everyone's side. (unrelated but yeah junho's actor is SO fine π₯)
Well, I think it's Kawin who asks, when they're trying to plan the heist, if they think maybe they're being set…
I do understand Sun's motive and his wish to revenge + recover what was once of his family, but idk our boy is going in head first without a plan, without Intel about his enemies, nothing at all, just hoping that this random mafia will maintain a vague promise. I'm like this because I don't want to see them getting hurt, even if I know it's inevitable π
Tbh I think the robbers gang is working with Junho or the other korean sibling. I think it's better for them to pin all those murder on someone else (aka Sun since he's from a rival mafia family) and washing their hands clean of it rather than threatening Sun into submission: he's not the type to back down in front of danger, unless they're holding against him the life of someone he loves. And I honestly think Sun would rather die trying than ending up in prison again with no possibility of ever uncover what happened to his dad and get his revenge π
Well, I think it's Kawin who asks, when they're trying to plan the heist, if they think maybe they're being set…
Kawin is ruthless (understandable he ended up like that since the environment they grew up in), but maybe for that he's also the least trusting of them. He's not smart, but he's capable to survive on his own.
Sun is just plain reckless idk the way he doesn't second check any informations that gets passed to them it's kinda baffling. They relay on luck so much im surprised they're all still alive (plus the way no one was concerned how a gang of random robbers got a bloody knife with Sun's fingertips so they could pin the murders on him if they need to it's just... Yeah, ig you guys do whatever π)
I kinda assumed Sun had feeling for Kong too because he obv had a soft spot for him and when, at Sun's birthday, Mei and the other friends started teasing Kong and Sun about their lovely-dovey attitude towards each other, Sun just smiled and seemed quite happy about it. He never confessed per se, but it looked to me like he had a little crush too. This is just my interpretation tho, so Sun could have definitely saw him just as a friend too.
Well, I think it's Kawin who asks, when they're trying to plan the heist, if they think maybe they're being set…
Kawin and Tian are maybe the only ones who got some braincells in there π
Tbh it's the first thing that came to my mind... Kong kissed Sun while he was dying, so imagine how fucked up his brain got from his old feeling for Kong + survivor guilt + trauma to have his bff and crush dying in his arms. No wonder he's gonna have ptsd triggered by kissing someone, especially the "brother" of his friend's killer.
My only thought is that Sun and the whole gang have nothing else to loose so they get themselves involved in anything…
Oh, I do get them being impulsive since they're desperate and around 20~25 years old, but sometimes they're just plain naΓ―ve, which makes me worry π Especially since Sun main objective is revenge, I just feel it wouldn't hurt from his part to have a little more planning and research more intel about who's working for and against. But I know it's not gonna happen and we're all going to get hurt, so I'm gonna psychologically prepare myself π
Sun really is NOT the smartest cookie in the room, uh π And his friends are even worse than him, like, damn, doesn't anyone ever stop to think about what they're getting themselves into even when they're being warned left and right about how they're being manipulated.
Loved Peace and Mei building a gentle and soft friendship in hope to help each other heal from their trauma. My two broken souls who just want to be free and live a tranquil life π₯Ί Every second I see Mei smiling in this drama is a win for me π₯Ίπ₯Ί
Also the end? My heart honestly hurt for Peace, he has no way to escape his father's grasp... He must be terrified about how he's just so drawn to Sun he can't help fall for him, all knowing that his love will only end up drawing an even bigger target on Sun's back.
(also Sun's flashback with Kong?? ptsd at its finest π)
Tbh, the screenplay wasnt great but i want to keep watching this series every week probably bcoz of ThunKeen vibe…
Oh, I mean, they look cute af and I'm more than happy to see people enjoy this serie, but since this kind of script and the way the writers make Keen act is starting to pissing me off, I would like to know if it's get better or not before choosing if continue to watch or not. I don't wanna get stressed just because I don't find myself vibing with the serie and I want for the actors and the staff to be appreciated by people who genuinely like this π₯Ί
I've only watched the first two episodes but Keen's behaviour is really puzzling me.
He whines bc Thun doesn't want to sleep in the same bed as him, when they've know each other for two days; if he wanted to sleep in the same room with Thun because he's afraid to sleep alone (very understandably so after all that happened to him) he could have just said so, why fighting about it?
Then he finds a boxing match for Thun without his permission and proceeds to invite him in the shower to break him the news. Like, why? π I get they want to put sexy scenes into the story but it just makes no sense π Not to mention how when Thun doesn't want to comply, Keen gets mad and calls him an egoist person who should think about others, like bro? I get you're desperate because of the debt, but you're the one who's using Thun to make money not viceversa π
Then when he goes to find Thun and the boy tries to hide them from the loan sharks, Keen just stands up and makes a scene?? I thought he was supposed to be smart?? And we again end the whole thing with Keen getting pissed at Thun's as if its fault they're in that situation and it's not everything bc the whole box camp ignored Thun's choices π
Does this kind of erratic behavior gets better in episode 3? Cause otherwise I'm just gonna pass on this one.
Btw must give a shout out to Xiao Zhan's acting because those last five minutes of Zang Hai walking under the snow and slowly getting so overwhelmed by his emotions that he couldn't breathe anymore, was pure heartbreak. One of his best acted scene of the whole drama for me.
Guys I'm so sorry but i was laughing so much through all the court scene seeing the Marquis and his wife slandering each other before the Emperor lmfaoooo I had the same delight Zang Hai held in his eyes, only that I was free to laugh like a hyena while he was not π
The timeline of this show doesn't really make sense, but at least it's interesting. We started in 2020 with Day and Night's twentieth birthday and now Wiwat is offering Night to undo his curse, which mean we're close to another February 29th? Are we in 2024 already? Plus I saw lot of screenshot of various date mentioned in the drama and nothing make sense, the cctv when they're searching for ozone dated 2022, Day reading an articles dated 29 Feb 2024 in episode 7... Wondering if it's just them being careless or hints of something π
Logic really stopped happening or what?So 2 ways to "get" Leap day:1. Naturally born with it. 2. Getting it transmitted…
Logic is not really this show strength I agree on that lmao. From what I understood both Day and Night's moms were due for around February 29th theoretically (it's not like we can exactly foresee day and hour of birth). So, Dr. Wiwat took the chance and induced both of the ladies' delivery with meds/drugs, in order to have Day born at 12pm and Night at 12am passing the Leap Day curse on them (and thats why their mother probably died also, I mean inducing birth with meds when it's not time?? can't see it ending well).
Btw I'm not med student or anything so really idk how it works, but if we're talking about bigger hospitals you can sure have multiple mothers being due for the same date (and if they don't have many doctors or well yeah, asking for favors, you can be on both birth). It's a bit of a stretch, but not impossible.
I agree tho that this "cure" is a bit far fetched tho, cause if one is not a doctor what are you even supposed to do? π And since Dr. Wiwat broke his curse, shouldn't Kit also be free? I thought the curse would work only if both people had it, once it's broken, it should be like that for both of them, no?
I am pretty sure Antu is just a pawn kid in her mother's hand and the real 3rd enemy is Queen of Dongxia. Still…
I agree with you. Antu probably had no real part in the 10 years ago massacre. But also didn't they said that Antu's mother, so the Queen of Dongxia, died? Maybe I read the subtitles wrong, or it could be the new Queen the real enemy.
I know this drama probably is not gonna have a happy ending, but I'm gonna need mei to be able to find her peace by the end of this otherwise im gonna riot.
