Oh, for sure it requires particular taste to appreciate this kind of stories, but unfortunately I think some of the changes they made impacted the original plot in a negative way (even only for logic's sake).
Still I do appreciate they did their best, because some of the messages they actually wanted to convey in drama's story are quite important and it's heartwarming how they wanted to still give hope, love and a chance to heal some of the scars and trauma to all those characters who suffered.
Not sure it was the right call for this type of story, but I can see the efforts.

Reading the real summary of the novel made me realise that in the drama they actually toned the tragedy and the gore down by a lot lmao.
I personally don't think most of the changes of the drama benefit the story, the novel seems better planned out, but I also guess they wanted to pass along more of a hopeful and healing message.

Unless some kind of miracle, even after seeing the new teaser, idk how this is supposed to work.
The vibes are off (still the gun?? pls), the actors are good (love most of them), but unfortunately miscasted and I already know they must have changed the plot quite a bit since it's only a 2-hours movie while both the novel and the manhwa are extremely long.
Hope the best for them still, but damn, it's gonna be hard.

1. First of all, wtf is the deal with the Snow Man, his character felt so off, like why is he even there, who is he?

2. I suppose that the ML also dies in the novel's ending, but is the the same as the drama? Since I read many comments says the novel was very heavy I didn't exactly expect him to die in the FL's arms just because of his wounds.

3. Does the FL just continue to live taking children in her home or do the ending implies she somewhat died since she see the ML?
Also I knew the novel was called something along the line of "swallowing gold" which usually refers to suicide, but nodoby tries to kill themselves so did they make some changes?

4. Can someone explain me when exactly the ML got bought by the Koo-min? Like, he was a talisman kid, got kidnapped by the prince while guarding a tomb, then managed to escape, somehow found Koo-min who then bought him and his friends from the noble family since they were still legally slaves to them?
Or it's different?

Just on episode two but damn this is more unsettling than I thought.

Yeahh I mean I get why the other players want to eliminate hyun gyu that badly, he's really a fearsome opponent: he can keep his cool, he's incredibly smart, calculating and willing to do whatever he has to win.
Tbh one thing I appreciate about him, it's that even if he appears ruthless he doesn't go out of his way to betray people, he sticks to his alleances and actually help them to win.
The only thing, it's that he stands out waaaay too much bc he's bold in his games; if he did like so hee and kept a more low profile he wouldn't have such a big target on his back.
I have so much fun in watching him play tho lmao.

Me too, I hope so hee will be the winner of this season and tbh I kinda want to see her and hyun gyu play against each other one-to-one in the final!
Especially since Tinno was eliminated (and I quite admired his gameplay damn) and rn apart from the two of them the only other I'd like to see in the final is eun yu since her gameplay in the death's room intrigues me.
I quite like ji yeon too, she's good at reading the room.

fr hyun gyu is scary smart and really practical, he always has a plan and seems like he's having fun, no hard feeling involved unless it's his burning desire to win lmao.
I admire the guy and I'd never want him as an enemy, so I get why everyone else want to get him out of the game... Really hope he manages to save himself tho 😭

The series is actually really good ahhh the cast + cameos are golden, everyone's got amazing chemistry with their costars.
Off & jued look cute plus their comedy timing is awesome lmfaooo and I'm really enjoying the banter between off & tay, my besties lol.

Plus the plot is actually good for once, break-up service is a smart business idea and the schemes they come up with to do their job are hilarious but they do work 😂
