This could work somehow, but wouldn't the curse pass on their next most loved one like this? Since they didn't broke the curse, they are just "cheating" it.
Your theory would make a lot more sense if it were Nigh and Day who "fake" their death, but not on February 29th, they should do it in another random day.
That way it would really be like they died and then "born again" so their birthdate wouldn't be February 29th anymore and the curse should stop affecting them. That's a more realistic "cheating" of the curse.

I'll be honest, I don't really like the "solution" to the curse they gave us.
Apart from working or not working and the morality around it cause you risk death anyway, I don't like the lack of clarity around the whole thing.

I mean at this point, shouldnt this thing works (admittedly nobody dies or get permanent brain damage from it) even if are Night and Day the ones who "fake" their deaths since dead people for sure can't have loved ones?
Do they have to do this every leap year, since they are "cheating" the curse and not actually breaking it? What about Kit, nobody told us if he's still cursed.

Also first they told us the death's accidents happen only on February 29th, but when Ozone and Dream managed to survive the one in 2020, we got both of them risking death more than once through the whole 2-3 years that already passed. Why? Is it because the curse didn't manage to kill them? But at this point should the same occurrences happen if the "fake" their death making everything they're doing pointless?

Plus, thanks to Ozone we do know the curse kind of pause (?) when Night and Day are together, but this apparently only work like once bc otherwise anything else wouldn't make sense. But we also got Night and Day (plus Ozone & Dream) not speaking for months and nothing bad happened during that entire time?? Like what. What's going on.
The timeline itself it's such a mess I'm not even gonna go there cause nope.

I've still got so many questions, but with only two episodes left I doubt I'll ever get answers 😭


(tbh gmmtv really need to invest in more quality storyline when they do thriller/horror dramas cause the chemistry between the actors CANNOT save a thriller, no matter how good the actors are, if the plot is messed up everything is going to fall apart in this type of stories. Sigh.)

I think it's better for them to pin all those murder on someone else (aka Sun since he's from a rival mafia family) and washing their hands clean of it rather than threatening Sun into submission: he's not the type to back down in front of danger, unless they're holding against him the life of someone he loves.
And I honestly think Sun would rather die trying than ending up in prison again with no possibility of ever uncover what happened to his dad and get his revenge 😂

Kawin is ruthless (understandable he ended up like that since the environment they grew up in), but maybe for that he's also the least trusting of them. He's not smart, but he's capable to survive on his own.

Sun is just plain reckless idk the way he doesn't second check any informations that gets passed to them it's kinda baffling.
They relay on luck so much im surprised they're all still alive (plus the way no one was concerned how a gang of random robbers got a bloody knife with Sun's fingertips so they could pin the murders on him if they need to it's just... Yeah, ig you guys do whatever 😭)

I kinda assumed Sun had feeling for Kong too because he obv had a soft spot for him and when, at Sun's birthday, Mei and the other friends started teasing Kong and Sun about their lovely-dovey attitude towards each other, Sun just smiled and seemed quite happy about it.
He never confessed per se, but it looked to me like he had a little crush too.
This is just my interpretation tho, so Sun could have definitely saw him just as a friend too.

Tbh it's the first thing that came to my mind... Kong kissed Sun while he was dying, so imagine how fucked up his brain got from his old feeling for Kong + survivor guilt + trauma to have his bff and crush dying in his arms.
No wonder he's gonna have ptsd triggered by kissing someone, especially the "brother" of his friend's killer.

Oh, I do get them being impulsive since they're desperate and around 20~25 years old, but sometimes they're just plain naïve, which makes me worry 😭
Especially since Sun main objective is revenge, I just feel it wouldn't hurt from his part to have a little more planning and research more intel about who's working for and against.
But I know it's not gonna happen and we're all going to get hurt, so I'm gonna psychologically prepare myself 😭

Oh, I mean, they look cute af and I'm more than happy to see people enjoy this serie, but since this kind of script and the way the writers make Keen act is starting to pissing me off, I would like to know if it's get better or not before choosing if continue to watch or not.
I don't wanna get stressed just because I don't find myself vibing with the serie and I want for the actors and the staff to be appreciated by people who genuinely like this 🥺
