When Zhan Zhao is about to kill the Prince, how come he's pierced by an arrow?? Was that Bai Yu Tang? Did Zhan Zhao activated some kinda mechanism while swinging his sword over the candle? I feel stupid help.

Also Bai Yu Tang's reactions are always the best, the way he started stomping harder on the medicinal herbs once Zhan Zhao woke up because he was mad at him really got a laughter out of me 😂
But our Zhan Zhao did deserves that scolding, with all he kept from them while his conditions are this bad.
I've lost count on how many times Bai Yu Tang managed to bring him back from the brink of death, alright 😭

The fact Zhan Zhao stopped killing because of Ming Zhu Er and almost started again just to protect him from harm, I'm in tears.

Genuinely never seen Zhan Zhao this scared ever, he was downright terrified about Ming Zhu Er learning the truth... He cannot bear see him hurt in any way, the boy is basically his son 😭

Also can't believe we're gonna be already at episode 30 tomorrow... They do have time to wrap everything properly, so let's hope they'll manage, but also I don't wanna say goodbye to this drama yet 😭

I appreciated our trio bonding moments a lot, Zhan Zhao getting Bai Yu Tang an eagle kite melt my heart a bit and I'm glad they confided in each other, with Zhan Zhao finally telling them about his past.

Especially for the HK TVB, I know very little about Hong Kong's dramas, so I'm curious to check those out if I manage to find them.

I'm not big into the wuxia genre (I mostly saw new dramas and read novels), but most of the drama I watched end up focusing on the romance, while I'm in for the martial arts and the character developments of the protagonist (plus the friendship, if it's done well).
I do agree that China tends to whitewash a lot in term of how "bad" a character can get, especially if they're the leads, which is a shame (to not mention those characters who lives outside the system) which is a shame.

Since we only have 10 eps to the end I would figure this is a good point for us to have Zhan Zhao cured from that original poison and maybe also get to see his backstory properly 🤞🏼

Oh, I know, but I have to admit that at the beginning I got a moment where I was like "oh wait a sec he's not for real isn't he... Zhan Zhao wait think about it" (especially bc I was NOT getting his plan) but then they didn't actually show zhan zhao killing him so i knew we were fine 😂

It was just later I realised he put up such a spectacle bc they were planning to blame it on BYT if the uncle disappeared (and our mouse had every intention to kill him for that antidote) and now like this Linglong and Bai Yu Tang will not get implicated even if his plan fails.

I do wonder if Young Master Tang and Bai Yu Tang will end up creating another Lifelong Pills (or whatever is called) with the plant he got from the mountains as antidote, or something similar with the help of Linglon's aunt.
It would be such a slap on the face for the uncle to see they were able to create an antidote without his help, that piece of shit.
