I was rewatching and now I desperately need Pond & Peter to pair just one more time to do a rom-com cause their comedy scenes are hilarious I swear.

Most engaging kdrama I've seen in a good while. Beak Ah Jin is monster with few emotions and it's probably one of the scariest portrait of a psycho I've seen in a drama (alongside with Jung Yi Shin in Queen Mantis).
The manipulation and gaslighting is exactly the same as you see in sociopath irl and while (if you have some sort of moral ground) you can't stand by her (or anyone in her closeness tbh, everyone is kinda crazy), you also can't look away because you need to know how far she's gonna go and use people to get what she wants.
I honestly have no clue how this story is gonna end and this is keeping me glued to the screen.

I just think people react differently... Honestly, if it was me, I'd probably start to quickly make my way out, while calling and hoping my partner will pick up the phone (what if they need help? Yeah, I'd definitely call while speeding out).

Since it doesn't seems a dangerous situation, I'd proabably wouldn't run at first (bf answered me, told he's safe and the police is coming, but i mean i did nothing wrong, so even if the police find me it's not gonna be a problem), not until I'd realise I've got drug planted on me. At that point, I'm bolting out of there, even better, I'd probably go back to the bathroom and flush the drugs into the toilet lmfao.

But probably having a survival instinct like yours would be a lot more helpful help it think both me and Bell tend unfortunately to freeze when we are panicking.

If you look closely, she didn't dropped the bad immediately cause the alleway where she was had a cctv camera, so she knew they were gonna be able to link the bag to her.

Also, I think the call was justified? If I went to the club with my boyfriend/date then get divided and see people running away without knowing tf is going on I'd call my boyfriend too; hell, I'd want to make sure he's safe and to try to get reunited with him.

The only thing I could fault her for is that after she found the drugs in her purse, she freaked out and did not start to run away immediately; that way maybe she would have been able to get out in time from the club.
Poor girl is barely 20 and never did shady things in her life, so I kind of understand why she panicked.

I just said that the plot per se isn't bad and I just feel like they've introduced too many characters without flashing out what they already have and getting us to care more about all the protagonists (not only about Tang Lici).
As a matter of a fact, the blood feud between Liu Yan and Tang Lici is the thing that interests me the most: their past scenes did get an emotional response out of me, that's way I'll keep watching ^^

I somewhat agree. We have already 8 episodes out and somehow in those seven-eight hours they managed to give us both too much and nothing at all.
The plot per se isn't that bad yet even if it lacks logic in some point and everything's a bit too extra, but somehow I still really don't care much about our protagonists? Idk, they shoved at us waaay too many dramatic moments/deaths in general for me to actually care, especially since we didn't bond well with most of the characters enough to care about their tragedies.

The dubbing is a bit out of sync... But for now it's alright as a story, so I'll keep watching.

I mean, I only saw him in Journey to Love, so I don't know him that well, but I must admit that I actually like how they dressed him up.
Is it a bit extra? Definitely lmao but I'm enjoying every dangling and shiny accessory; plus I'm quite drawn to him as a disturbed individual who's descending into madness from hatred born by betrayal, so I guess his acting is good enough for me.
But this could also may be my personal taste coming into play 😂
