Argh, I'm kinda want to watch it for Sang Yeob and the plot doesn't sound too bad, but after Seo Yea Ji's scandal... Idk, I will try and hope that this won't ruin the experience.
I still don't know why most people hate nj and pity ji ung. What so good about ji ung and what so bad about nj?
Most people hate NJ just because. I think she's lovely and very true to herself. Tbh I pity her more than Ji Ung, because her crush on Ung is much more new, so its unlikely that her feelings will lessen in a near future, but he's also the only new friend she made in a long time. So one part of me hope they could remain friends, even if maybe it's not the best for them cause NJ will suffer from watching her crush with someone else and Ung could ending up making Yeon Soo jealous. So, in the end, I just hope she'll find something that will cheer her up a little!
It's easier to wish for a good ending for Ji Ung since his love for Yeon Soo lasted for a while; he's exhausted right now and it's the perfect moment to give him a fresh start so that he can finally go on. And I sincerely hope they'll give us just that. He deserve to find a little happiness in his life too.
Don't know what y'all think, but Seung Min and Soo Myung were definitely in love. Be it romantic or platonic, but these two loved and cared for each other as soulmates do. I just wish they had given us them reuniting at the end, after those four years (yes, Seung Min is alive for me, idc what were the writer's intentions).
It was a beautiful movie, the only thing that bothered me it was the hospital setting: such violent treatments and incorrect way to perform elettroshock theraphy could have worked for a 1940 psychiatric hospital, not a modern one.
This was a solid 9 for me. Wonderfully done. Personally I'm fine with open endings (and this wasn't even that bad, reading the comments I expected far worse), but I would really have liked to see all them meet at least once at the end. Overall, I enjoyed this very much!
Imagine the banter between them. Would be too good haha. Alas I don't think writers will do that.
Yeah from episode 2 it doesn't look like Seung Tak can see him. It's a shame tho, it would have been really funny shsh and also its a missed chance to help both of the characters' growth!
Can someone explain why in the synopsis it was said 2 ghosts?
My guess is that Young Min was possessed by a "ghost doctor" when he was an intern and learned everything about surgery from it, then for some reason the ghost left him (as it seems that in the present Young Min has full control on his actions), but at this point he did already became good enough to be a genius. And now because of the incident, Young Min possessed Seung Tak and I suppose he will ended up teaching him how to become a proper doctor while Seung Tak will bring out Young Min's humanity. But this is only a theory, we will see what's going to happen on episode 2 and so on!
I agree with you. I love all their characters and I am so invested in Ung and Yeon Soo's growth and relationships.…
Yeah, I'm with you about this. I mean, I was okay with Ji Ung having a crush on Yeon Soo when they were in high school, but to drag the whole thing for ten years? It's just forced and unnecessary. It would have been nice to just see Jo Ung living his life (maybe finding a new love) and unpack all his emotional trauma with Yeon Soo and Ung's help (the three of them becoming close friends? Why they couldn't just give me that sob). Similar goes for NJ, her character suffers from loneliness because of her job, so tbh I would have loved for her and Ung to become friends and actually give each others comfort and advices. They are actually pretty compatible and if, after all this unrequited romantic love mess, they managed to remain friends, it would be awesome to me.
the love square is the only thing I dont like. I'm invested in seeing Ung and Yeonsu mending their relationship…
I agree with you. I love all their characters and I am so invested in Ung and Yeon Soo's growth and relationships. Same with Ji Ung and NJ, I just wish the best for them and to find happiness. But why do they have to be all romantically involved in a love square? There were so many ways to make their relationships special and meaningful without it to have be romantic love.
Never saw any serie with First before but I must say that I like his acting a lot here, he's doing a wonderful job with Yok; as right now, he's my favorite character.
I’m a little confused about the doctor. Is he really a doctor or just a quack who’s Ryu Sol’s friend? He…
I've answered to a similar question just a few comments below, so I'll just copy and paste lmao. The doctor's a real one, but also not really? In episode 2, it shows Jae Seon talking to Yoo Seoun about this psychologist that he knows because this guy distributed illegally mental health medications. So I supposed he has a license, but he's not really a proper doctor.
