So I love the main couple. I'm not weirded out by Seul Bi's innocence and child-like wonder and enthusiasm nor…
When I said simple, i meant simple as in uncomplicated - they won't imagine that a whole organization is bent on catching one ultra-innocent woman, that the chaebols fight amongst themselves and there are different groups with different motives out on the streets chasing people, that they're after the girl but they might also come after him and other people, that they can prank call and then kidnap people and would go to violent lengths to get what they wanted... I doubt all those things would run through their heads if someone called them to a warehouse to deliver fish. They're also kinda wary of rich city people, so they don't usually like to get involved with them. They accepted Seul Bi after they saw that she was just a naive, innocent child. You can see the way they assume silly harmless things inspired by their dramas when they speculate about Seul Bi's background. For all they know, a rich girl has been betrothed to a rich guy but she ran away because she loved another and now the lovesick chaebol is after her. It's correct but not correct XD
but you're right, SG should have at least been suspicious of why she didn't want to return...

i totally agree with you. everything seems to be completely hidden but I keep having a feeling that the reasons and explanations are all going to be weird and weak lol
At the time when he was just trying to get her off his hands, he did ask questions, albeit not all the ones you asked - her answer was always something dumb or "Su Gwang-a."
Finished Ep 6 and getting serious SLS...Someone remind me again why the big, bossy baby is supposed to be oh so…
He isn't supposed to be attractive lol, if anything, they're making his character one-dimensional and dramatic on purpose - as a huge mocking tribute to all the stiff bossy carboard CEOs of Dramaland. The SML was made for people to get SLS, again, making fun of the usual drama tropes. That's what makes the drama so hilarious and interesting. The writers are trying to create a sharp contrast between reality and fantasy, between real, 3-dimensional humans and 1-dimensional fictional characters. If you keep watching, you'll find out what I mean.
I wish this gets remade by someone so that newcomers to Asian dramaland also get a chance to see this story onscreen,…
ISWAK and Autumn's Concerto are better classics to remake, IMO(Though I'd probably never watch them because I don't believe anyone could ever top ArJoe's portrayals XD). I seriously cannot stand this unnecessarily violent character no matter how hard I try to love him - the story is just shallow in many places
Yeah its real classic!! The skinship of the leads are insane haha and i wonder how many times they kiss haha
they were nice enough to include a literal kiss compilation from S1 to S2 in the end of the finale ep lol it felt so nostalgic and meaningful to go back down memory lane. Amazingly well done series
Seohyun acting is amazing i hope they get together again Soo Kwang hurted her so much it's not even her fault…
idk why people keep asking this in the TCs. The fact that he wants to be alone does not mean that he has stopped caring about her. He needs time to grieve and sort things out, and even if he hurt her because of his muddled feelings(I'm not defending him here), it's not like she suddenly became an enemy. He offered to get her a house and let her take the ring because he still loves her. It's just that a million things are being slapped in everyone's faces rn and he needs some space. Doesn't mean he wants to abandon her or never see her again.
She disappeared suddenly and abruptly, so of course he was worried and went around hunting for her. He was upset because she ran away from the chaebols to escape being used as a shaman but she was doing it here again, without valuing her own self. He very obviously doesn't hate or blame her.
Thr market people are literally us at this point... speculating and spreading rumors and creating hypothetical stories because he damn writers won't give us any clear information -_-
Who said the new lady is Seul Bi's grandma? I thought she was going to be some sort of final boss deity who granted the powers in the first place or somethig idk did i miss something? Definitely didn't hear or see "Grandma" anywhere
lol I'm at ep 5, but I just don't get it. Isn't Soo Kwang supposed to be poor? How come did he manage to give…
The latest Samsung Galaxy devices just drop from the heavens if you are a main lead, no questions asked. It's a blessing from SK dramas' biggest patron. I actually remember what year a drama was released in buy the Samsung model they use XD
But it makes sense, if I were him it'd be too hard to take as everytime I see her face, I'll remember my beloved…
yeah I think they're hinting at that by the way he yells "It's not your fault!" repeatedly but he still can't bring himself to be with her as usual. He knows it's not her fault and I don't think he's blaming her either - guess he needs some time to process things and grieve properly for his mom.
I'm totally confused about this as well. I thought they said earlier on that the women just suddenly become pregnant…
CEO had a wife, remember? Min Joon had to come from somewhere, and so did CEO.(Min Joon speaks about his mom somewhere in the series too "Did you hide her from Mom? I've never seen you be so affectionate with mom like you're with her.") I highly doubt CEO and mom are full-blooded siblings. lol it's like the men HAVE to have daughters with the shamans and sons with someone else idk why this is funny to me my sense of humor is broken
I'm totally confused about this as well. I thought they said earlier on that the women just suddenly become pregnant…
It could also be the Korean War so that could cut like 5-7 years from your estimate 😂 still semi-immortal but whatever. The grandpa does look like he's in his 90s
I'm totally confused about this as well. I thought they said earlier on that the women just suddenly become pregnant…
I also thought the exact same thing, but I finally went back and watched the beginning scenes again. It's not the same woman... I guess they picked really similar looking actors lol. Did you know the guy who played the king was the SML? I nearly died laughing when I saw it was actually him in disguise XD
on another note: so they're seriously trying to inbreed?!! that is just sick. At least it never actually worked lol. CEO's father seemed like he didn't want CEO to be with his daughter(?) though. They mentioned that CEO "stole" her. Now I have to spend another sleepless night wondering why Mom would try to kill her father and WHY Grandma would take the bullet instead -_- My last few brain cells are having a terrible workout.

They did mention that they meet men tho I didnt hear them say they don't need men to have children..? The Joseon era ancestor clearly said "We will have a daughter" and they totally implied a bed scene after that...
I thought the soldier guy was the FL's grandmother's husband(the one who saved the lady) but then I also thought he was the current chairman's father so that makes no sense whatsoever and I'm completely muddled up.
Question 1: WHO was the soldier guy who became a CEO?
Question 2: WHO is the current chairman's father WHY did the FL's mom take a bullet for him?
Question 3: How does FL's mom know ML's mom? Also how does FL's bio dad know ML's adoptive dad?
Question 4: Why didn't the mom take the chance to leave?
Question 5: How does FL's bio dad come into the picture and how the heck did the FL's mom end up running away and having a child with someone who seems to be the secretary of the chairman's much-hated slimeball brother?
Question 6: WHAT THE HECK WILL HAPPEN TO THEM IF THEY GO OUT INTO THE WORLD?
I literally cant stop before I find all this out... cant believe how much mystery the writers are pushing us into when I thought this was a nice night fluffy romcom. Feels like a total extra-dramatic makjang-type soap opera inside a weird suspense-mystery inside a cute, funny romcom *_*
So I love the main couple. I'm not weirded out by Seul Bi's innocence and child-like wonder and enthusiasm nor…
If you take into account that he's a small-town guy, a lot of his actions make sense. He doesn't wait long before proposing, he isn't immediately suspicious about things or people, his thought processes are simple... but yeah it can get frustrating. But in another way, he seems like a good match for the new-to-the-outside-world FL. Small-town guy meets Rapunzel - the intellectual gap isn't very large
As for the two men, it's what is is driving the plot rn... the big mystery that probably won't get revealed till like ep 10.
