Looked forward every week to the next episode, enjoyed it ... BUT .... the initial storyline had much more potential that was not used, the first half was decidedly better than the latter, the last 2 episodes were a bit bleeehhh, probably would have been better if it had been put in 12 ep instead of 16.

This one is hilarious - laugh-out loud funny (some of the acting might be a tat cheesy ...)

Did not expect much starting this drama, the synopsis was not that inviting ... but was I wrong ... very entertaining overall, also loved the stand-up comedy intro before each episode.
The story lines touch on quite a few women/men interaction dilemmas and conflicts (can't call them all relationships ...) given them the necessary attention but managing not to make it a depressive angsty viewing.
Would not have minded a few more episodes - 12 was a bit short.

Excellent mini-drama even with the really bad subs on Mango TV .... just could not wait the extra days to get all the episodes on VIKI with decent subs (FYI ... 2 episodes on Mango are only 1 ep on Viki ...)
Well cast, good acting, superb visuals, interesting story line . If only it could have been stretched to like 12 full length episodes instead of 18 minis ....

In the "makjang" category of Cdramas this was entertaining, as with most of the very short length dramas the plot is absurd, the acting like a school play .... ideal filler when you are waiting for the next episode of your favourite drama ... gave me a few giggles along the way

Pretty good bromance drama, enjoyed it a lot. .... ignore all the comments and make up your own mind

On ep 12, translations on WeTV are getting better, not perfect but a tat less brain gymnastics needed to understand the story.
Dubious subs aside ... highly recommended so far

Excellent so far ( 9 ep in), at the end of ep3 you understand where they are going with this, very fast paced these first episodes ... you just have to put up with the really bad subs on both WeTV (unusual for that platform) and Mango ( as expected bad) ... we all keep our fingers crossed that they will edit the subs over time, if this was not as compelling as it is I would have sat it out a few weeks hoping for better translations .... but I am totally hooked

Excellent drama, 7 ep so far, and yes .... unfortunately ... the subtitles are total crap both on WeTV and Mango (... and of course on all the illegal sites that just distribute and do no add value in terms of subs .... ) , very unusual for WeTV to have bad subs, we can only keep our fingers crossed that betters ones will be uploaded.
But the story telling is so good on this drama that instead of waiting (or ultimately dropping) I happily do the brain gymnastics in my head to translate the awful English to something understandable (or as close as I can get to at least)

Very decent Cdrama, no need to compare it with its US source material or how the K-version measured up to that, it stands very well on its own. Well cast actors, very smooth production, engaging thru out. Best way to watch is judge it on its own merit as a Cdrama.

Stumbled on this drama without any expectation ... probably the best way to watch this ... binge watched in one setting - good thing it is only 8 short episodes
What a hoot , hilariously absurd in a "Kill Bill" type of variety, no exactly what you would imagine for a KDrama plot
Think the crew and actors had a blast doing this one.
Probably not to everybody's taste,, over the top violence - bit of a comic book feel to it, switch off your brain and go on the roller coast ride
Absolutely loved it - think it needs an additional tag "black comedy"

you are again proving my point, you pick up on two words "well educated" discard any other context of an opinion "temper tantrum throwing, unreliable, untrustworthy, immature female", label it and throw a personal insult ... also read again your initial re-action where you put in a few other personal attacks .... so no you do not have a solid basis on respecting people's opinions.

not it isn't - and calling somebody misogynistic is a personal attack and not respecting a personal opinion and you want to refrain from those to keep MDL platform healthy - your set of cultural values and background is not that of another person on a global platform you might want to keep that in mind

You do not need to agree with my opinion about the drama ... but you might want to refrain from overly personal attacks on somebody's opinions
My daily watch average is 4h to 6h per day (sometimes more) of Cdrama/kdrama/jdrama - so yes the whole thing was watched, you might also want to browse thru some more comments and see a large variety of opinions on the FLs, quite a range on not so positive

This drama is quite a superior production, gorgeous sets and scenery, fabulous costumes and a lot of decent acting ... however ... you end of feeling it did not fully deliver ...

The end cut short by at least a few episodes to make any sense at all,
Female leads that behave like spoiled pre-teens, never sure if the characters were badly written or badly directly or badly acted (or all of those)
A forced romance - why would a highly educated capable guy fall for a temper tantrum throwing, unreliable, untrustworthy, immature female
why put up with any of what the youngest sister throws at them
Too many unexplained story items

Enjoyable most of the time but it could have been so much more

At ep3 slowing getting into it. Story acting and most of the visuals sort of OK, had to slug a bit thru ep1 and 2.
The CGI seems to be of mixed quality (not any worse than other dramas), not a fan of some of the costume props, Lord Changheng costume in ep1 appears to have a fusion of transparent dental moulds on it and Dong Fang costume looks like it has the remainder of an elk BBQ gone wrong on it, it makes me giggle each time I see it.
Will see if the story itself can keep my interest in the upcoming episodes a.nd divert my attention away from the strange props

Beautiful cinematography, interesting story, some good acting.
At ep 14, Not exactly enchanted with the portrayal of the FLs, do not know what is intended but naive and cute female character for me is not adult females behaving like 10 year olds.
Hope that the continued story line does not rely too much on the misplaced romance arch.
