OMG. I just completed episode 9 and went straight to see the previews of the next episodes and OMG. The preview…
They both have a lot of issues to work through, and I donāt think spending a night together will lead to them getting back together that quickly. Plus, we still have plenty of development to see for the Cute Introverts and the Chaotic Duo, so Iām not too worried about the story dragging just yet.
The Introverted couple is so cute. I love it how he makes efforts to make her open up little by little with his simple but brilliant ideas ā¤ļø
And Chaotic Duo being at their best with mouths taped was the peak of comedy for me, that makes so much sense š When you listen to their arguments you just know that most of them are about simple stuff which couldāve been easily solved if they both just started listening to each other instead.
This TV show is clearly a form of therapy for all three couples.
Loving it , of course there are those who will point out it's different than the cdrama sorry not sorry but it's…
Iām an absolute fan of Go Ahead, but Iām also appreciating the Korean take on this story. Itās different and unique in its own ways, yet still very enjoyable. Iām happy to see that this adaptation of what is, letās be honest, a masterpiece, is doing it justice. Even though they condensed the childhood part of the story into just one episode, they still managed to include all the important elements without making it feel overly rushed.
Thereās nothing wrong with comparing it to the Chinese versionāit was inevitable from the start. There are differences, like cultural aspects, that will naturally influence the final outcome.
"Him being a simp would have been the case if he was blindly crushing on her for years and doing everything for…
As for the business dinner, it was more of a professional meeting, with the FLās friend sent to inspect the hotel. Sure, it wasnāt pleasant hearing what was said during the dinner, but the ML showed his class and professionalismāhe didnāt allow himself to be provoked.
Also, the ML did beat up that guy in the past, which led to him being reported to the police in Germany. Thatās a fact. I think the SML was trying to provoke him again, hoping to show the FL that the ML hadnāt changed. Well, he failed.
Ok Iāve seen some people calling ML a simp but actually he is just deeply in love with his first love. Him being…
Iām so happy to see someone else recognize that itās more about āthe emotional journey and secret longing,ā as you so beautifully put it. ā¤ļø I donāt think heās a āsimpā at all. In fact, Iād go furtherāhe seems deeply traumatized by how their relationship ended. While heās almost irresistibly drawn back to her, his flashbacks hold him back from opening up about his feelings. This drama has great potential to be a really well-executed āsecond chanceā romance.
Which intern girl? Is it the lawyer girl or the female leads friend
As the daughter of one of the sponsors, she began to act bossy towards the scenography team, even though the FL had asked them to stop working until her return. The FL set clear boundaries, asserting her authority in front of everyone to show the intern her place. As a result, the annoying girl transformed into a spoiled brat, displaying a fake-nice, passive-aggressive demeanor. Itās clear she will do her best to make things difficult for the FL in the upcoming episodes.
Which intern girl? Is it the lawyer girl or the female leads friend
None of them, she shows up when they start the renovations for the tv show and states she's the big fan of FL and ML's relationship. Well, it didn't last long, spoiled brat energy was stronger than being a fan. When you will see her, you will know immediately which one we're talking about.
After ep6 I feel like he's not a simp but more like he realized his mistakes from the past and tries to make it…
Right now, I can only speculate about what might have gone wrong, but I'm sure both of them share some responsibility. Heās trying to show her that heās no longer as impulsive and immature as he once was, and I suspect she has also learned to communicate more effectively. This is evident from the moment she shared her story about being a producer for the first time; it made him realize that she has changed as well.
In situations like theirs, there are usually no clear rights or wrongsājust communication issues. If she wasnāt expressing her plans and needs, how could he understand her? On the other hand, if he acted immaturely when things didnāt go his way, that certainly wasnāt the best way to find common ground. They were just kids at the time; they clearly loved each other and had a strong connection, but their individual issues ultimately led to the failure of their relationship.
I'm not sensing the "lame/simp ML" trope in this drama, though it seems like many people in the comments do. To me, it feels like neither of them ever fully moved on after the breakup. They both clearly want to be close to each other, but heās more obvious about it because of his personality, while sheās the more emotionally unavailable one (although her friends have seen through her). If she really didnāt want to work with him, she had plenty of chances to avoid it, but she chose not to. She knows exactly what sheās doing.
It was also surprising how, after the shopping trip, during that meal, one moment made them reflect on their past in completely different waysāshe focused on the good memories, while all he could think about were their worst and most painful moments. I also get the sense that he may have been impulsive and toxic in the past (after all, he was reported to the police in Germany for beating up her friend, which is a huge red flag).
It seems like she was more career-focused, and in the process, may have overlooked his feelings. Meanwhile, he was likely an immature romantic who didnāt fully understand or respect her ambitions, which led to them drifting apart. They were both pretty young at the time, and Iām guessing their communication skills werenāt great, with each of them having their own unresolved issues. But despite all that, itās clear they truly loved each otherāthey just didnāt have the tools to make it work.
Itās not necessarily a bad thing for someone whoās emotionally closed off to have a partner whoās a bit clingy. In fact, it can push them out of their comfort zone and help them open up. The shopping scene was a perfect example of this dynamic, as was their conversation in the garden. He clearly has a natural ability to make her feel comfortable enough to share more of herself. Even in a previous episode, her best friends mentioned that they still donāt know her full family story, since she tends to keep things private.
They share an undeniable connection, drawing them together like magnets, but their history carries unhealed wounds from their failed relationship, making them wary of each other and hesitant to take any further steps.

From what I gather, he didn't really take into account what she wanted from life back then, but now he's doing his best to support her dream of having a TV show, while still keeping his own goals in mind (even his business partner was surprised how prepared he was with that investment, initially thinking he's just recklessly risking it all for her). It's clear that she's always been ambitious, and he may have been a bit immature or not as driven as she was to fully understand that at the time. We will eventually find out what's this all about.
That's the first time for me that there are any time airing differences, it clearly already aired in China almost 2 hours ago but still not available on my WeTV (either desktop or mobile app, I checked like a minute ago). Well, there always has to be this first time, sadly ;)
Was excited for this, but the ml seems spineless and total simp after watching 3-4 episodes, nothing new at all…
After ep6 I feel like he's not a simp but more like he realized his mistakes from the past and tries to make it up somehow... And I hope I am right about it, because, well, that would be interesting.
It's past 7pm CST and still no new episode available on the WeTV international app, that's why I am asking. Looks like it can have different air schedule.
So whatās the misunderstanding that pushed the leads apart? This thing is only 24 episodes long; they canāt…
I donāt think it was the misunderstanding in the first place, what I think and understand from the context is that at that time they wanted different things. He wanted her to do it all āfor loveā including sacrifices, she was focused on her career. They also both clearly changed since their break up (FL mentioned it a couple times when talking about e.g. MLās impulsive attitude from the past).
We know that after the break up he called her many times but she didnāt answer. Then she tried to call him but he was the one not answering. But then during interview he mentioned he never heard back from her since the break up. Thatās the whole mystery here š¤
