I wouldn’t say that tbh, we had fox spirit matchmaker (red pact). Amazing cast, horrible plot. Was a complete…
I still wish they would give Love’s Rebellion the money they wasted on FSMM - this drama could’ve been so much better with CGI and editing done well. The story itself may not be original but it was at least decent comparing to FSMM. Also, main leads had way better chemistry. I think they wasted potential of both dramas.
One with bad screenplay and casting by big names, but not chemistry. Second one with going too cheap and rushed with postproduction.
The last fight the heavenly calamity between ML and FL was hot fucking hot
Am I the only one thinking it was cut in a half? Like that scene ended so suddenly and they didn’t even show the part of him really dying by “turning to ashes” and her using those hearts? That was weird but the scene was so fiiiire
This drama is such a weird case for me. Started very weak, got better, got some hiccup again in the middle but then the last episodes were absolutely the best part of it. The fighting scenes and the BGM during those got soooo good!
I can’t stop the feeling that it was butchered in the postproduction - some scenes were clearly cut in a half without mercy, sometimes editing made me question my own existence with its horrible quality. It’s like they had 2 teams working on it in shifts. One team doing a decent job and then the other one which couldn’t give a sh*t any less or even sabotaging the whole crew’s work.
In the end - it was okay. Worth it if you like the cast and wouldn’t be discouraged by the weaker beginning. Last episodes were really good for me and I wish the whole drama would be at least on that level of pacing and action.
PS: That was a satisfying ending for me! That one moment made me all *woaah* (iykyk)!
I like the fact that, even though our main man lost his memories, he hasn’t lost his intelligence. So the stupid…
I hold my breath when that demon started that fake story just to be relieved 2 minutes later. Our man maybe lost his memories but not his intelligence and ethics. Oof
ohh Ji Yang is the fashion demon with that triple outfit change in mere seconds lol. I like the upgrade in Nan…
My jaw literally dropped when ZLH turned around and appeared in this new darker version in black costume. I don’t think I’ve seen him looking THAT good before (and I thought that in MJTY he already looked sooo good), they knew what they were doing with this styling 😏
I can’t stop thinking how epic this drama could’ve been if IQIYI spent on it all the money they literally wasted on FSMM1 (I’m still recovering after that disappointment).
I like the general vibe, the cast and the story itself. But can’t stop thinking how much they probably rushed the post production and seems like they were looking for saving money on everu possible thing. Special effects are very uneven, editing too. OST is really nice but the BGM has some weird moments and again is very uneven. Fighting scenes - very nice but editing sometimes makes it underwhelming, despite all the effort ZLH and other cast members obviously made. Costumes seem fine, especially those for ZLH’s character.
What I must say is that people responsible for styling did the justice to all of the main cast. ZLH looked the best ever in the cave scene in this black costume, woah. JT also looks so beautiful and natural at the same time every time she appears on the screen.
I’m just frustrated at this point. IQiYI is making such a bad decisions this year. I really hope they won’t waste the potential of another upcoming dramas I have on my watchlist - if they will ruin Fangs of Fortune/Moonlight Mystique/Go West istg I will cancel my subscription with no going back 🥲
Also, realistic depiction of the dreams and challenges faced by entrepreneurs and the difficult decision of control…
Definitely, having good advisors and choosing your business partners wisely is crucial what is not really shown in media. Building relationships, avoiding emotional reactions and decisions - it may seem easy but usually must be practiced to master and manage the business properly. Let’s add the amount of stress and situations out of your control which have to be managed on a daily basis to survive on the first stages - things which were simple in your mind may turn to be almost impossible to handle, so you need to be extremely creative and smart to solve them.
Working in business is not for everyone, what was stated a few times in this drama. Some people are the best at mastering their own skill (at this stage I think FLs business partner may be a good example - he’s good at his fields of work but has no clue how to manage the business and his personality doesn’t make it easier for him either).
The show is ok so far. However, I wasn't very moved by the ML's sacrifice and the FL's reaction because the show…
I have a feeling a lot of material was cut during the post production/censorship process. The length of episodes varies between 30 and 45 minutes and some of scenes feel even cut in the middle or unfinished.
How I see this is that they were in love before his sacrifice, so the feelings may seem a little bit superficial. I hope they will show us their feelings evolving in the process of meeting and getting to know each other again. Right now, the first part feels a little bit rushed.
I’m on ep 19 and I’m absolutely impressed how accurately this drama portrays the medical device industry. It must be the most realistic business drama I’ve ever seen.
If you’re looking for pure romance, this drama may not be for you (but I guess there will be more of it in the last episodes).
It’s about the very specialized industry and breaking the stereotypes of starting your own business. I find many of Han Ting’s advices really smart and constructive. Having a dream and a lot of energy will never help you succeed, there is many obstacles and things to learn in the process.
Haha I recall that! TPR comment section was on fire when it was on air even if drama itself wasn’t really a dream come true 😅
Idk exactly who also said it there but one quote stayed with me about nutsack - he was missing his d*ck in his first life so much that he had to make it his whole personality in the next one 😂
Is there any comment section rn with such an intense comment section? I really miss that one 😅
