Please, give He Yu more (real) ML roles in wuxia/xianxia genre. I feel like he’s still so underrated.
I absolutely adore Hou Minghao but can’t help to feel like He Yu steals the show every time he shows up on the screen. It may be the character he got to portray but he himself has something captivating about him. On the other hand, I had similar feelings when watching Legend of ShenLi, he was such a bright point of this drama.
Wait, BL from China? Even if not airing in Mainland, I still can't believe it's happening. Does it mean we still can have hope for some shelved titles?
His first drama is from 2020 (Maiden Holmes) and right away he got a role as ML. He’s been doing very well from the beginning, despite not being an actor with the degree. Quite impressive how much he already achieved in just 4 years, he’s been working hard no doubts. I hope to see him in some more serious and diverse roles in the future!
everytime i see ZLH onscreen, the first thought is that we have been royally robbed off the closest Sang Lang/…
He’s such a perfect fit for this role. Sadly, all we can get are those BTS photos just to make us more heartbroken about this “if” 🥲 I think donghua is still in progress so I’m looking forward to the 3rd season ❤️
And here we also get another 2024 drama after The Double with quite noticeable age gap between FL and ML (TD: FL 11 years older, LR: FL 9 years older) proving the chemistry between them can be fire if you choose well when it comes to casting 👏
(Sadly, looking at you FSMM, I still haven’t get over the disappointment you gave me 🥲)
I love our rectangle and I hope they’ll stay friends till the end of this drama.
(Spoiler) The hot pot scene was somehow heartwarming for me.
All of them are lonely and ostracized in some ways, so friendship is really what they all need:
Rich Fanboy - because of his love for poetry and his father literally buying his potencial friends Sly Fox - his family has been trapped for years by the sect, looks like he’s been not treated well by people knowing he’s a fox Ex Golden Boy - exiled by his own sect, left by his master. People from his sect (former friends!) are literally hunting him down to kill Poison Queen - looks like she was not liked by people from her sect and even bullied so that cute scorpion pet was her best friend

And the previews for next two episodes? Love it more with each episode
He’s just so effortlessly gorgeous, he’s been born to shine as actor
I am not sure if there was any FL he didn’t have a good chemistry with. If I were one of them I would literally fold, he’s too good at that 😅
