omg fu ling finally remembers!!! i suspected from the start that she was her sister. maybe she can change for…
Honestly, she cannot be saved at this point. She has no respect to the people’s/demon’s/eternal’s lives at all, killing everyone without a blinking. And she has no remorse at all, what’s making it even worse.
I love the portrayal of this character by Dai Luwa tho, I assume she will have a great opportunity to showcase the complexity of Fu Ling once she will regain her memory.
We can be sure that Fu Ling is Bai Shuo’s older sister, seems like her memories will be slowly coming back after the bug entering her head.
But! What’s been really the biggest question for me for a while now is the identity of Fan Yue’s brother from the tribe. I’m wondering if it’s either Ching Zhao (maybe he was saved by eternals back then) or that guy from the demon sect on the wheelchair who was apparently growing up with Fu Ling (sorry, forgot his name)?
Can someone explain to me why she acted like this with the name he gave her for her registry on episode 7? xD…
He literally gave her: - his own surname: Jiang - first name: Xiaohua (which can mean something like 'little flower': 'xiao' for little and 'hua' for flower; Chinese fluent people, please, correct me if I am wrong :))
Bro she clearly killed her own dad..I just can't wrap my head around how she is going to redeem herself from that
She’s 100% her sister, I think it’s been made quite obvious. She could get her demonic powers from ML by resurrecting her, then was taken by a bad guy disguised as Taoist to use as a weapon. The demon who attacked them as kids convincingly noticed „she has some interesting destiny”.

According to „xianxia law” (there is no such law, I just make it up ofc 😅) if she’s done something so terrible the only way for her is to have a redemption arc and dying at the end by sacrificing herself to e.g. save someone else.
Ngl she’s done A LOT just in a few episodes. And it’s not that she’s „just a little bit mean”, she’s actually killing people without any hesitation. Even if her memories were erased, it’s gonna be hard to give her a good redemption arc without making me feel genuinely fine about it.
both leads serves acting and visuals 🎀and drama serves good plot ... 🌙
Bai Lu is a real queen of xianxia for me, we didn’t have anything from her for a whole year just to get such a nice surprise at the beginning of 2025. 5 episodes felt like 15 minutes, that’s the best proof how much I enjoyed it ❤️
prediction: we don't know fu ling's past, but I think that she is bai shou's sister. nothing has indicated that…
I second that and I also think that the dagger she gave his sister when they were kids will be one od the triggers for her to get her memories back. I noticed in one scene between those two, Bai Shuo conveniently covered it with her sleeve (not in purpose, but I assume it’s reveal will have an impact on Fu Ling)
Ao Ruipeng in this role is just chef’s kiss 🤌 They styled him so well (his hair, finally someone got him a perfect wig!) and I really like him on more serious/darker side
