She showed up literally for a few minutes, more as comic relief to show FL's being jealous, nothing more. I don't think it's gonna be dragged, if so then more as the work competition (she works for another beer company), not as ML's romantic interest.
In episode 10 they explain how she feels about going into a new relationship with Shi Ye, and her hesitating is…
Yeah, episode 10 definitely made it clear that there’s much more to her hesitation. I’m so glad this drama leans more toward realism—it makes the story so much more impactful and interesting.
The scene when their talked outside of hospital was so good, I had to save that quote about awkward moments in…
Exactly! Even though they knew each other for only a short time as teenagers, meeting her made him start questioning himself. She played a part in shaping the person he is today, and I absolutely love this trope.
Zheng Hao is the kind of guy who has been deeply dependent on his mother and blindly followed rules to achieve success and earn respect. He’s a bit of a tragic character—lacking substance and emotional depth. His inability to detach from his rigid mindset is reflected in how he completely misunderstands the FL and what she’s been trying to communicate to him for so long. He doesn’t grasp the concept of empathy (yet?). I’m really hoping to see significant character development from him. Right now, he’s all about goals and the means to achieve them, without considering the emotional cost.
After ep 9, please oh please tell me she won’t date Shi Li because of Xiao Lan. I’m so tired of that kind…
As much as I hate this trope, it also kinda makes sense in this particular case.
It may seem that she's done with her people pleasing approach in life, but I suppose she can be still afraid to hurt others, especially close ones, with her actions. Xiao Lan seems like the closest person she's ever had, of course she will be afraid of losing her.
My only hope is it's not gonna be dragged for too long. One or two episodes would be fine for me to manage this situation, but making it a big issue between FL and ML will make me annoyed, ngl.
Finally the ratings up really deserve to be 8+ hehe , it says its better than smile code, i guess it is especially…
Smile Code is not even close to the level of this drama when it comes to the quality. Smile Code is enjoyable, that’s for sure but it lacks depth this particular drama has.
But I also think those two differ in the target audience, so that makes sense.
Everything in episode 8 was satisfying but my favorite part was when the guys showed up to care for her when she…
The scene when their talked outside of hospital was so good, I had to save that quote about awkward moments in life. This guy is so insightful and I can’t wait to find out what happened to him after she changed schools and how he started to do standup himself.
8.7 average rating tells me all i need to know about most cdrama and kdrama watchers. You watch dramas because…
I agree, 8.7 definitely seems to be too low for this masterpiece. I devoured all 27 episodes in 3 days. The story, acting, visual effects, fighting scenes, OST - everything about this drama is making it extraordinary.
It's gonna be the same but made by Tencent instead of Youku? It doesn't make sense, even the director is the same person. Curious, what's it all about.
I have a feeling iQIYI might release this drama within the next few weeks to salvage what has been a pretty lackluster lineup this year.
At least Fangs of Fortune was good (I loved it), but most of their other dramas just didn’t hit the mark. I have really high expectations for Moonlight Mystique—the trailer and Sa Dingding's song gave me chills. It has the potential to be a major hit.
From 8 main characters, only 3 made it till the end. We lost Zhu Yan, Bai Jiu, Ying Lei, Li Lun and A'Heng. They all died in the last 5 episodes. What a wild ride that was, I am still not okay.
But it didn't end there. They didn't even spare Wen Xiao's dad, bad guy Zhen Mei who had a last sad but sweet moment with Bai Jiu, our doomed couple Qing Geng and Fei (guy kinda died for the second time). And Ao Yin gave her life to save Li Lun.
I would say, I knew what was coming but I still wasn't prepared at all for this amount of trauma in the c-trauma.
I got instantly the same thoughts about this character (I recognize the fellow ND when I see one, I guess ;)).…
I also like how it's shown that sometimes he may be so much overwhelmed by somebody else's emotion that he needs a moment to separate himself from it, acknowledging that it's not his own emotion.
the whole clothing tag thing omg (and basically yongju's entire assessment of him) 😭 posting this here for…
I got instantly the same thoughts about this character (I recognize the fellow ND when I see one, I guess ;)). So far, he's a really nice ND representation for me.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find his name on the cast list
That’s because he has no profile on MDL yet. This drama was his kdrama debut as previously he was only acting in the US, where he comes from. His name is Alex Landi.
I wasn't crying over this show the way everyone did. However, the one scene that made me cry was when he met his…
That was also the most emotional scene for me. I cried like a baby. Beautifully done. When it was shown that his father kept all the stuff and his room as it was, I literally lost it. Because of the tragedy that happened years ago, some unsolved issues and the misunderstanding, they were apart, both suffering for so long.

Fingers crossed!
