It felt like too much of a work-in-progress for meāunfinished and unfulfilling. Donāt get me wrong, I appreciate realistic dramas, but this one felt incomplete, almost as if it were setting up for a second season. Sadly, in dramaland, thatās highly unlikely. I agreeāShi Ye isnāt your typical ML character. Pushed by his mother to be a leader, achieve success, and accumulate wealth, heās realized that these arenāt the things he truly wants in life, and I deeply respect that. Heās more of an introvert, valuing meaningful conversations with others.
Honestly, I found his character quite attractive, despite his personal struggles. Toward the end of the drama, he showed self-awareness of these issues, especially when his stand-up performance became more of a heartfelt confession.

I agree, but I really liked how comfortable they were with each other when they first started dating. Their relationship felt so natural. Shi Ye recognized his issues and decided to work on them in last episode. I also noticed heās more introverted, even though heās been a stand-up guy for years. Performing seemed to be his way of expressing himself. Additionally, I was a bit disappointed that we didnāt get more insight into his relationship with his mother. Overall, his character couldāve been developed in a more interesting way.
