my saviour!! so there are two Qin Liangs? And why does the grandmother associate with the third branch if the three Qins in the second generation are her children?

He was in Word of Honor- as Scorpion King (villain role) and had a greater supporting role there.

getting fanfic tropes into the mainstream while eternal faith is still locked up is crazy. I'll still watch though

It's more faithful to the webtoon but there are differences in culture. The ML has a backstory as well. but its going faster than the kr version

The scene was so well done! Earlier, in her mind, she was just parroting her lines. However, when the three-way-stabbing…

what is the writer's motivation to make most of FL decisions/responses give a big question mark to the viewers?
the director said its about confronting prejudice and biases. she isn't acting like a typical FL should, but also has biases towards the ML, just like the audience has biases towards her. they are basically holding a mirror up to the audience

I'll relieve you haha. he's accepted that they are in a storybook world, and all the iconic scenes will happen. so now he takes every measure to fight against it. (something she should have done from the beginning) but all is well by the end of these two episodes. the iconic stab scene plays out in a different way, but you have to see it yourself lol.

What strange outcome of relationship between emperor and NH...So all is past now...Even all is sad what he did…
I don't think they can ever get past it. even now NH is extremely cautious with him. unlike NR who can whine like a child in front of the emperor without consequence. NH still fears him

I see why the three way stabbing scene is iconic. I was meant to make the new one have a bigger emotional impact. how I cried when SYM helplessly rushed forward to carry out her role from the script. the futility of it all was just so sad. and nan heng risking his life to stop it all. too tragic.

This would not be a drama about biases and prejudices if people don’t disagree. We all come from different backgrounds…
facts. the drama is doing what it is supposed to do. people are engaging with the characters as wish fulfilments rather than complete people (which is what NH asked SYM to see him as).

Why is it always the FL who travels back in time? I wish we have more of ML travelling back for a change in future…
Its a way to make the female lead smart, cunning and independent, since this is always expected from male leads. I would like to see more salted fish male lead characters travel to the past though

yes! he called Nan Heng his son which I thought was strange
after the scene where the noble consort begs the emperor to spare her brother's life then NH comes to plead for her and takes her away. the eunuch suggested that they should take away his army before he rebels and he said "do not comment on my son's affairs"
