I always think that Xu Kai is CEW good looking brother. Love Chinese dramas. Some of the Chinese historical dramas are take makjang over the top (I am looking at you, Yanxi Place)!

Yes it IS more like a prequel. Which I didn't realize until I watched it the second time, and figured out the Shirley connection. My first was The Weasel Grave 2017. I like a good tomb raid. I didn't like Yue Ming at all...at first. But now, he's the man. I have seen I think all of them that have been translated, even the movie versions. I love the comedy. i can't remember which one, but the duel between the two fung shui masters interpreting the land is hilarious. I love the way China makes these series and then reduces them down to a movie. I also like the the "Lost Tomb series". It is weird how MDL links all the Lost Tomb series together.

If you watch them in order you will get more of the jokes. Like why the antque dealer does not want to go with them in the 3rd one because of the 2nd one. Or like how fast Fatty falls to sleep. So for the adventure and thriller part watch them in any order as they can stand on their own. watch in order for the comedy.

My favorite is Candle in the Tomb: The Wraith of Time. but it is a side story. In this new series I like : Lost Caverns. I like ALL versions. I am waiting until this is all over before I watch this one. My heart can't take the waiting for the next episode.
