Why people love 2HA ... I mean it's just personal? It might be confusing and tiring and random to you but I think Meatbun connected everything in 2HA perfectly. She also is really good with handling her characters and their development. I usually don't cry reading books cuz they're just words but I bawled my eyes out for 3 characters (even felt something for every side character).
There's really no exact reason that I like 2HA better ... I just felt much more addicted reading 2HA than I did while reading SPL. Binged those 300+ chapters like it was my lifeline. SPL is still very good and I liked it, I just didn't get addicted to it.
I'm no expert, I don't analyze how "good" books are. Meatbun is a talented writer. Priest is a talented writer. Both have enticing and well thought out plots. I just tend to like Meatbun's novels more.

Personally I hate the homophobic nature of censorship. I 100% think the ban of homosexuality should be abolished.
The only problem I have with a Thai production company is that their budget and production quality really can't compare with Chinese production companies. A beautiful story is still ruined by lacking visual effect, poorer sound quality, camera angles, etc.
But like honestly it's not even a bromance aoweuifjkdf ... like Word of Honor? Idk what shit people are smoking to see THAT as BrOmAnCe
Do authors deserve to have their drama adaptations labeled as "BL" instead of "Bromance"? Yes, they do. Should the homosexuality ban be there? No, it shouldn't. But the ban is going to lift eventually, and I think we'll get more beautiful BLs than ever. :):) For right now, we have to stick with no kisses or established relationships but I think it'll improve

But you HAVE to read 魔道祖师 mo dao zu shi (Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation). My tooop favorite danmei book. Lot of angst, lot of plot. Main CP is one of the best I know.
You should also read 天官赐福 tian guan ci fu (Heaven Official's Blessing). Very long book like 2HA. Plenty of betrayal, etcetc The amount of plot and angst is also competable to 2HA. Personally, I'm not that into the main ship (Hualian stans don't kill me TWT), but dw it's still very healthy.
You could also try Meatbun's other novel Yuwu, but I haven't read it yet so I'm not sure how good it is.
