Well all to their own opinion! Personally I do like ChangGe, and I also looove the Hao Du x Le Yan developing relationship!!! Personally, I think it really was the uncle who killed her entire family. That doesn't make him a cruel ruler .... its just how historical relationships work. It was either him dying, or ChangGe's father dying. Also I was just surprised at the rating drop because yesterday it was 8.5, today it is 8.2. Usually ratings dont drop that much so fast.

If you read some reviews of 2HA most of them say the same thing. In the beginnig chapters you will just want to slap Mo Ran and choke him to death. But trust me, later on, (I don't want to spoil) the book with show there is a reason for EVERYTHING. THERES A REASON. As for bromance, after reading the novel, even if they tone down the BL, I will only view this drama AS a BL. The original source material has a BL relationship, and trust me, it is NOT toxic as it shows in the beginning chapters.

Although I'm more of an 2HA fan than SPL, I completely agree with what you said. CFY and LYX have suchhh a beautiful friendship as we’ve seen and I just hope BOTH of these dramas can be released soon...

Douban is originally one of the most popular rating sites, so it's ratings are pretty much always pretty low. Personally, I feel there could be a lot of antis influencing the ranking. There's also the fact that some people read only the first 20 chapters and deem it a toxic relationship without going through the rest.

I can't really be sure if Chinese readers dislike the book??? Not sure, but yes its defintiely popular with the international audience

As one of the people not completely invested in the main CP, even I think this is super ridiculous. This plot literally has everything: politics, revenge, history, etcetc. And like ur just gonna drop this drama because of the AGE GAP?!?! It's so obvious that both of them are such good actors! (and both of them are so beautiful, who can even see the age gap?!?!)

I agree so much!!! And YES, its true they've barely interacted, but I can already just feel that CP sparks in between them. I fell in love with this CP after just 1 of their interactions in ep 7, when HD kneeled and said that he wouldn't leave if he didn't want her to.
