Thanks for confirming. I actually hoped it'll improve once the leads met but the manner in which his friends kept making awkward comments from the very 1st moment they met her and the slow pacing bored me. I actually like these 2 actors but this drama isn't for me.

I love Jian and Zhou a lot but 2 episodes down and the leads are playing hide and seek. All that has happened is them voice chatting and exchanging recipes. I've already started skipping scenes and that's not a good sign.

The FL says her first dialog and I had to lower the volume. It's the same child who dubs for numerous c-drama FLs.

The writer seems to be confused, one moment the FL is acting strong and pushing away the ML, next moment she is begging him for help!

I've seen only a couple of dramas from Philippines but they were not good but this one was amazing. Both the leads had their journey, made mistakes, grew up, had a decent character development and at last learnt the art of communication.
I've come across dramas from east Asia where the ML did not deserve the FL but she would easily forgive him without discussing the reason they broke up, in most cases the ML is a rich CEO so it would feel like his wealth helped him. This is not that drama.
The actors were so good, even the actresses who were cast as the FL's friends were damn good.

Couldn't stop laughing when the FL made fun of the childish voice many c-drama FLs have. The description is so apt - strange, high pitched voice, like when a prisoner's neck is strangled 😂

1st epi - The actor wasn't even pretending to drink the wine but I let it go coz there are many actors who haven't mastered the art of fake eating/drinking.
Then it looked like a parade of bad actors and there's just so much one can take. There are far better and many east asian dramas so I won't waste my time on this one just coz it's a BL drama. Hats off to those who stuck by it hoping it'll get better.

Yes! And it's not about age gap coz when there's chemistry then such things don't matter. I actually thought whether someone in the costume dept hated him or was paid to make a mess.

Watching it again. Vengo in this drama reminds me of the old Hollywood actors and then there's this wonderful FL who was like breath of fresh air.

Thankfully we haven't encountered any blind fan of hers otherwise in such cases we r told that the girl is still learning so we should accept it. Interns are never sent to deal with the client, likewise if one is learning how to act then don't give them a lead role.

Even I'm waiting for this next one. One could see his hard work in this drama as well but something was off, even the costumes he was given were so weird :(

Hopefully some day Richard will be in such a position when he can say no to a bad actress. I don't like dropping dramas of my favs
