I started the c-drama 'wonderland of love' and as of now both the leads are equally smart and strong. She is so good (but never rude or arrogant) that when the ML falls for her I can totally see it coming. I don't roll my eyes thinking no sane man or woman would fall for her lol

This weekend I'm watching variety shows then back to finishing dramas. Never thought I'll be watching so many dramas and yet so many more to finish lol

It's the same in c-dramas as well, the girl/woman will be good at work but lives shabbily. If a man in these dramas can make sure their home doesn't look like a pigsty then don't make FLs live like that -_-
And yea, I figured it out. These are targeted at the female audience so they want to show that there are hot men out there who'll fall for a weird FL, will cook and clean for her and will never fall for the good looking rival girls lol

I like to watch noona romances coz I've only seen older men/younger girls dramas, so it's nice to see a change but the writers don't want to do anything different.

Was this pathetic drama's writer a bully in real life or is it a child's fantasy that a bully will suddenly feel pity for their prey?
Only bullies like to give excuses and hope for their happy ending in life. Reminds me of those toxic lakorns where rape is romance and the rapist ML always has a HE.

The 2nd episode is where I gave up. Kang spreads a rumor about Sai being a pedophile which causes him to lose his job as a tutor, then suddenly he scares off thugs who were bullying Sai and Sai is in his arms. Thailand keeps surprising me but in a bad way. Maybe BL producers think fans are mindless fools who will watch and accept anything they are served as long as their fav actors kiss and cuddle.

I go to MDL page of Immortality every now n then and see our tribe increasing lol

I read your review just now and I agree with you. Directors can't do much if the actor is lacking, and then there are times when an editor ruins it all.
Immortality needs to release asap so that I can forget this and move on lol

Camera angles and editing do ruin things but her expressions too were bad. As if she was being forced to do kissing scenes. There are actors who never kiss but their expressions during romantic scenes are so intense that the audience forgets the lack of kissing.

Maybe the producers thought her blind fans will accept it and make excuses for it while the rest of us don't matter. If someone would watch those scenes out of context they would feel the girl was not in love with the guy lol

Somehow the producers managed to gather this cast knowing we will keep watching coz of their acting talent. The writing, direction and editing is equally bad. Even fanfictions are better than this.

You will enjoy this crap only if you lower your expectations to a bare minimum or if you have never watched a single drama in your life. I'm so disappointed coz it had all my favs, Dylan Bai and Miles.

When actors take up a role and get paid for it, they have to commit to it. It's like any other job in the world. Isn't there a chinese actor who has a no-kissing in his contract coz he is married? (I am so bad with names lol)

If her acting was bad then she would have to rely on kissing. I think she too can ask for a body double or no kissing if she isn't comfy

There was a time when I used to watch those toxic lakorns, they started making their leads kiss, it was painful to watch those kisses and this drama reminded me of those days hahahha

Either she needs to go under a training or flat out refuse to kiss instead of ruining these scenes. Actors are paid heavily to convince us, and she is fine in acting but terrible when it comes to kissing. I even wondered if she has some issue with Leo but you and kwnato have told me it's the same in her other dramas as well...

ah ok! I'm sure she must know she lacks in this department so either have a no kissing clause until she learns or learn it asap. And I agree, her acting is good but it really looked like she wanted the kiss to get over so that she can go home lol

Jerry is so damn sexy and this drama captured him beautifully. 2nd time watching, many more times in future for sure :D

Was Zhang forced to do the kissing scenes? I can understand showing that the FL is shocked or surprised the first couple of times but the entire drama had her making a face as if she was just obeying orders or disgusted by it. Wonder if even the director just gave up knowing it's a lost cause.

Starting to watch this coz of Leo but starts off with another c-drama where the lead will go to Africa which has harsh conditions, to teach African docs. For once these Chinese docs should stay in their own country and treat their own ppl lol
