And by the 34the episode, the tables have turned. The ML wants the FL to nurse him round the clock, wants her to leave her job and when she doesn't run around him all the time he makes a scene out of it, embarrasses her in front of their friends and then throws her out of the house in the middle of the night. I look at the ML and I only think - rich man's privilege.
But, the FL just doesn't say out her feelings. It's easy to get tired when the person doesn't fight back or say what's on their mind. Not everyone's a mind reader.

I don't expect the FL to keep laughing like a maniac but I'm on the 19th episode and 99.99% times she has a stuck up constipated face. She sucks energy out of every scene. I know she is poor, has troubles but people learn how to enjoy even in the worst of times.
The ML keeps getting pushed away by her but keeps chasing her which is not logical at all.
Then there's Yu Hua who is in a one-sided romance, has been rejected but wasting her time on the guy. Can't blame the guy coz it's her who doesn't have a problem being a doormat pretending it's love.

But I keep watching coz of Elvis lol

I dropped a modern c-drama 'If Paris Downcast' where the FL kept breaking up with the ML in every few episodes, she's a lawyer but has no brains. Will trust everyone in the world but not the ML. He too doesn't leave his mom who keeps slapping and abusing the FL.

Then I started 'never gone' but again the FL is soooo cold. I need to re-watch some good c-drama to calm down lol

oh damn! I wanted to watch this drama coz of Zhang but your review has scared me. I don't even wanna try such crap where FL is a doormat, keeps enabling bad ppl coz she wants to prove she is a saint. And from what I understand, even the ML isn't that great :(

Ep29 and another girl from the ML's past pops up. He is definitely a red flag. Even if he has no feelings for these women, he is never strict with them. He lets them cross the limit. If a guy doesn't want then no woman will be able to step in his personal space. But we want the FL to be understanding or go fight with these girls.

On the 22nd episode, Shawn is fab BUT so far the ML keeps having secrets from the FL, the FL has already been hurt in the past by him but they've somehow got together again. Now whenever he gets caught he tries to explain but she doesn't have the patience to listen.
Every time the leads are together or about to, another misunderstanding. Seems like the writer had no clue what to do with them. I'm skipping so many scenes now!!

But there's something I love a lot. Everyone who knows the ML knows how much he loves the FL. If only their romance was dealt well..

Exactly! Fans think their fav should remain celibate and be the best human being possible. They'll never hold their politicians accountable like this coz we know what'll happen.
So easy to ruin an actor's career by 'scandal' or 'tax evasion' as if these are the worst crimes possible -_-

Some how reached ep6 and suddenly the FL isn't mad at the ML. She's smiling like a fool when the ML buys her breakfast even though in the previous scene she was still angry!
Either the writer was trying to be over smart or some scenes have been deleted.

I'm carrying on coz of Shawn but if the drama doesn't get better, I'll drop.

Same here! There are so many good stories to be told thru BLs, when compared to school boy BLs even I prefer grown ups and action :D

gosh! can't wait to start. Taiwanese BLs are always so different, and this story seems to be about grown ups instead of young boys with screaming girls lol

I checked the MDL page of 'eun dong' coz I didn't remember it and I saw I had dropped it. Many a times MDL ratings and reviews fool me into watching such crap dramas.

Your very 1st sentence about adopting kids without having resources was a red flag. It's great to give orphans a loving family but only if the family can afford them. Also, there are rules where it is checked if the would-be parents will be able to bring them up properly!

I hate when dramas portray kids as too mature for their age. It's not cute.

There are all kinds of people out there. I've come across lakorns where r*pists have a happy ending, the victim has almost no trauma and fans call it romantic when they get together. So this drama is nothing when compared lol

This 5th epi was so bloody good.

He reminds me of Mike Angelo, will have to check out his other dramas coz his acting in Venus was good.
