I too started it coz of Jerry but damn this was bad. I stayed till the half of ep11 and dropped.

Want to carry on watching for Jerry, but ep6 and the ML is ready to marry his gf but clearly has feelings for the FL. Makes sure the FL is around him but also kisses and brings flowers for his fiancée.
Had to drop at ep11, the FL has no issues being around the ML while he already has a woman and the ML treats her as his maid while a funny music is used a background score. Only kids will find this romantic.

Watching 'rising..', 1st time seeing her perform and I'm amazed. I'll be watching more of her projects.

2 episodes and the FL has only managed to make a fool of herself. On the 5th epi and the 30 year old woman keeps behaving like a teenager, running after the ML. Her bad hairstyle doesn't help matters. 14th epi, and as usual the FL always needs the perfect ML be it at work or for cooking.
One moment she is all over him, behaving like his secretary. Next moment she hears or sees something and throws a tantrum. It's been happening from the very start.

Only Vin is making me stay. He needs to pick better projects.

When I first read your 1st comment, I was sure her blind fans would have asked you to shut up or that you don't know how amazing she is. When I saw this was a safe page I was able to write my honest thoughts about the matter. And I was glad to find that I wasn't the only one who struggled with her acting.

There are people who have only seen mediocre acting all their lives so I can understand it comes from their ignorance. But if we watch good dramas and good actors then we're able to judge well.

I'm watching him in 'off to school' and I kept wondering how the girls in his class were able to focus on their studies or maybe he studied in an all-boys...

I actually liked the first 3 episodes. Can't find the other epi with subs anywhere though :(

I think the writer wanted to show us a FL's journey as she changed from a two timer, a woman who uses the ML, who is ready to date her boss just to defeat her rival, into a proper woman. This FL is not a 10 year old but a grown up woman who uses the ML and he is fine by it. The ML himself called her out on being with 2 men at the same time but our lovely FL has no shame. She wanted a guy at work to defeat her rival and a guy at home who would clean her house and cuddle with her at night.

But the drama failed. Coz the ML stood by such a disgusting woman and the FL was like that for 14 out of the 16 episodes. Even when the ML leaves her, her ego is much more important to her. She only starts missing the ML on the 14th episode when her boss-bf doesn't love her in the manner he used to love her rival. In the 15th episode, once again it's the ML chasing her, almost begging her to say 'I love you'.

The ML was so much in love with the FL. He accepted all the crap and yet was ready to face the world for her. She DID NOT deserve him. If the writer's aim was to show how an amazing man has to break the shell of a stupid woman, it was a failure.

The FL is so weak and weird.
Ep7, ML doesn't want the FL to read an email, he easily takes her phone and deletes the email while she stands there looking like a fool and her exact words are ' isn't this my cell phone?' and with her limited expressions demands how dare he.

Only Yoon made me continue. The FL was unintentionally a laugh riot and whenever the actress started screaming it became funnier. I wondered if her dialogs were written on the ground given the number of times she kept looking down.

The writing was bad, especially when it came to the FL. In a later episode she just barges into a room full of reporters to claim wrongdoing of her father, gets dragged out coz she has no proof. Maybe the writer meant to show it was her grand gesture to protect the ML. But once again, it was hilarious.

The 1st time I saw baby was in the drama 'general and I', she was giving some strong expressions so I thought, ah maybe the character is thinking hard and planning something. Then as more episodes went by, I realized those were the only expressions she was capable of and it was me thinking too deep LOL
Take acting lessons, work with experienced actors, challenge yourself. But many bad actors choose to pick similar roles knowing their fans will accept it.

Hopefully they'll understand we're not blind haters. I'll never be a blind fan or blind hater. I'm not paid for it :P

I recently finished 2 bad c-dramas. The writing was weak but the actors were good. I didn't continue this one coz even Richard couldn't save it. Even I don't want to ruin my mood, pull my hair LOL

It's as if she's afraid of making an 'ugly face'. Many models suffer from this problem, they're used to being pretty all the time. But they are hired coz they are famous and it automatically brings viewership.

There's a chinese actress Angelababy. I like her in variety shows coz she is herself but she has only a couple of expressions and wide eyes that she uses in every drama of hers.

I was very sure you would be bombarded with hate messages for being honest with your views. Thankfully not many people here lol

The drama was so good before the leap happened and then it felt like the writers were changed.

For a woman who thinks her boyfriend left her to enjoy a family trip right after her miscarriage, the FL behaved as if she was guilty of something, How I wish she came back as a tough woman, who didn't behave like a thief in front of the ML. At times it felt like she wanted the ML to recognize her while she pretended to be someone else.

The ML on the other hand had totally changed his tunes. His mom hadn't allowed him to meet the girl who had just miscarried but now he had no issues smiling and being loving towards his mom. Maybe it's a cultural thing but I didn't like it. And he was stupid enough to think it was the FL's fault for leaving after the miscarriage instead of wondering what must have made her leave in such a condition.

As usual, the ML would grab the FL's wrist and drag her and she would allow it. I wonder if even little girls think it's romantic. And as is usual in k-dramas Da Hae wasn't punished.
The end felt like they were ordered to wrap up asap. Suddenly the ML says it was his fault for not protecting the ML and all is well except for both moms not wanting their children's happiness.

Regarding the acting, LSY was not good, especially after what Yoon had delivered. Namkoong was not bad at all. But the younger actors had great chemistry which went missing post leap.

same here!! I want to watch Arthdal coz I'm hearing gr8 things about it but Habaek has scared me. Fans do a great disservice when they can't accept valid criticism. This is why bad actors don't put an effort coz they know their blind fans will accept crap.

I put Habaek on pause coz I'm struggling so much. There's a scene where she has to show that the character fears going in the water but her expressions were so confusing!

and I'll just erase it from my memory lol

These are dramas with paper thin plots. I watched another one 'stay with me'. Constant breakups when the adults could have just talked.

I started watching 'bride of habaek' and her expressions or the lack of expressions make me want to quit but the other actors are so good that I'm trying to ignore her. There are some chinese actresses as well who keep getting leading roles coz they look good.
Many people get confused between looking good and acting. Modelling and acting are different.

I skip propaganda stuff even if my favs are in it. But maybe their target audience does watch and gets brainwashed otherwise why would the ccp try so hard... knew someone would reply to you with 'you and your western media' LOL

A good drama is one where you are disappointed it ended. Same goes for this one. Some of these short c-dramas are so much better than those big budget ones with bad actors.

The FL was tough but never cold or rude. Something that many c/k dramas forget while creating a strong FL.
The leads never faltered from their aim, no silly break ups. The FL took her revenge without trying to pretend she is a saint. No forgiveness for the wicked. The ML was clear about his love for the FL, he learnt well from her and both of them were on the same page.

I wonder if they'll get another season coz I would love to see the leads live a happy, peaceful life.
