I'm on episode 13, didn't like how the FL goes back to working for/with her ex-boss.
I know my seniors who cut all ties with their bad ex-bosses and the companies the moment they left.
Never liked this drinking culture as well, this is how people end up as alcoholics. And I'm already skipping her weird step sister's scenes. So yea either I'll drop or pause this drama.
I started it coz of Leo and he has done a good job. But the rest...

It has been some years now since I watched it, it's in my list of dramas I'll watch again once all my bookmarks are done. I wish I had started watching c/k/j dramas before lockdown. Have too many to finish :(

'something...' was one of the earliest k-dramas I watched. Your comment reminded me of the days when I stumbled upon k-dramas and was like, why didn't I watch them sooner lol

On the 3rd epi and the FL is such a moron that from now on I'll skip her scenes when the ML isn't there. She is the kind of woman who'll cook and clean for her husband's mistress as well.
But Gong Yoo is fab as usual and this is why I'll try not to drop this one lol

I want to watch this but the actress is not good. Old k-dramas can be so bad, not everything old is gold.

ML is a fuckboy, he thinks the FL is his 'birthday present' and pays her off in the morning. Later gets in her cab to escape his dad (maybe?) and she can't even tell the cabbie to throw out the intruder. I would have continued if their acting was any better but nah. Dropped at ep2.

So yea trust the other users here and save your time unless you want to watch garbage.

Acting is all about convincing the viewer that the characters are real. Acting in this drama was bad from the get-go. The ML tried to look cool but it didn't work, his friend informs him about the death of his dad but looked like he was going to laugh any minute, the 15 year old actress tried to act like a grown up but felt like a child in a fancy dress competition.

Her so-called acting after she makes a mockery of the funeral just to click some pictures was atrocious. One moment she is normal, next she is high. As if wanting to show us her range of expressions and voices.

I don't mind age-gap in reel or real as long as it's between 2 consenting adults.
But here you have a 15year old girl lusting after a 43year old man. Whose fantasy was that? I had to drop before I even finished the 1st episode. Don't have the patience to see her heart break or romance with the ML.

Watched it for Richard otherwise this isn't worth the time. He is good as usual.

I tolerated this nonsense of a drama till ep47 hoping it'll get better but it was a joke. The writing, direction and acting all are pretty bad. Maybe a decade back this was considered great?
The scene where I gave up was when the FL keeps walking towards the place where random people are protesting against her for being a single mom. It felt as if she's blind and deaf for not spotting them. Once she is in their range they throw eggs on her and I burst out laughing.

Did any of you find eng subs after ep31? I'm currently on 9th and dreading the day when I finish the 31st epi. I wish I had learnt korean :(
