For the people who know, why did Yi Fan switch schools and break up with Sang Yan in the first place?
She was going through something traumatic at that time ( was s*xua!ly assaulted and had her family turn their back on her) so she changed her uni choice on her application to get away from them, it was only later that she realised that she didn't tell Sang Yan about it. + She pushed him away when he asked her why she changed the uni choice because she couldn't bring herself to tell him what she went through
It's called "defeated by love" by Zhu Yi You can find translations for it on foxaholic, but it's incomplete. The rest of the chapters you'll have to read from MTL
They did justice to the novel, dare I say, even elevated the plot in some way ahhhh, so excited for future episodes.
The banter when they both stepped out of the washroom at the restaurant in episode 2 was so fun to watch ahhhiviuciyditdidbon
I was sceptic at first, but this show exceeds expectations. It keeps me on my toes even though I've read the novel and know how everythings gonna play out
Also the glances at the end of the first episode omgghggh
Honey no, I'm all for women who are actually good at their job, and there are tons of them. I'm not trying to downgrade her, I'm just stating what I felt while watching the series
they're not a couple in the novel
They made this cp for the series
+ She pushed him away when he asked her why she changed the uni choice because she couldn't bring herself to tell him what she went through
And SJ is a nickname, it's a reference to her birthday (it was somewhat related to first snow or something I can't remember )
Although I'd like to say, they're most definitely not ruined adaptations, they're one of my favourites

"are you still a virgin?"
DUDE WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU
And in series, you should definitely check out 'silent'
It's really fun
Maybe it's not LJ but the character in itself that I find annoying
