In the palace banquet confrontation scenes, I was struggling to take HRF’s actor seriously. He’s a good actor, but his continuous pouting and over the top frowning had me laughing my ass off. Especially on that scene when He Yan started calling him out as a faker—the way he turned around like a runway diva and pouted like he’s on America’s next top model. I lost it 😂

The first time Sima Jiao has ever shown a worried expression was when they heard LTY’s demon identity was discovered 😭😭😭

The preview where Chu Zhao’s candy breaks followed by a breakdown reminds me of that viral junior masterchief clip where the little girl cries after her food crumbles down lmaoooo

From the trailer, I really thought the scene where CZ was playing the flute was about him going full evil in the climax. However, upon watching ep 25, I found it a bit moving. We know the guy is a two-faced dirtbag, but the guy truly cares for He Yan. I can’t help but sympathize even if I really hate seeing him on my screen sometimes.
