Putting a spoiler tag so that normal viewers who haven't read the novel won't get spoiled.I have decided to regard…
in the trailer ML said they are strangers as far as he is concern, but I think since he fell in love with her once before (worked on a college project together), he'll find himself falling in love with her again. My feeling is that the essence of Han Ting will still be intact, but his personality may be not so perfect. The essence of the inspirational business venture will still intact.
yea that's what i'm thinking too. Like lets say she was 18 and maybe he was 20-21? so a decade would mean she's…
They might even be closer in age if Han Ting were to skip two grades. The trailer young Han Ting looks kind of shy, not outgoing type, probably studies all the time, became smitten by a vivacious brilliant girl who is also interested in robots like him.
Oh my this is a totally different story. Perhaps it's not a good idea to read the novel?
It's my first time to read a novel so now I've learned my lesson. Novel and dramas are not going to be the same. It's best not to project novel onto the drama. I should stop guessing about the drama and just wait for it to air. The problem for me now is that I have this expectation of Han Ting from the novel and need to erase that image to watch the drama properly.
Does anybody know what is the role of He Rui Xian and Gao Han in these drama ?
In the novel, they're all brainy college classmates in technical majors. Li LI is Ji Xing's best friend. After graduation, Li Li decided to work in marketing and sales instead of technical. She's an interesting character.
In the novel, Shao Yi Chen was Ji Xing's college sweetheart and lived together after they graduated, then lived apart due to commute. He's smart and in the same work and field as Ji Xing and their companies are competitors. He's a stable, patient, loving, and understanding boyfriend who treats Ji Xing really well.
in the trailer he did not have a chance since he had to suddenly leave for post grad school in Germany, a spot opened up. He texted her about his situation, but she never responded back to him all these years. He figured she forgot all about him. As far as he was concern, they are now strangers. They were never officially dating or romantically involved in college. They met over a college project. He developed feelings for her, but I don't think she did. They never were college sweethearts. Due to his sudden departure, he missed the opportunity to ask her to be his girlfriend. I wonder why she never responded back to him.
If the director wanted to show that he died in battle, then he would have ended the battle scene with him reaching for the pendant on the ground instead of dangling it from his mouth with that daring or defying look. Then the scene of him riding toward the tree is not an illusion because she was never shown staring at the rider in the distant but reacted to the sound of hoofs suggests a sudden, unexpected presence. The rider on his horse was shown up close, powerful, loud and clear, although his face was only shown at a distant, but it was clearly the Duke's face shape, his figure and posture, and you can hear the Duke's distinctive voice over and over again to his horse to go faster. The camera really zoomed in on the pendant. As he got closer, it ends with her suddenly hearing the sound of the rider and turning to look for it. The reason you don't see her excited or shouting to him is that this is the instant that she heard the sound of hoofs coming. She is in shock. I found the scene beautiful and mesmerizing.
the director is now getting a lot of criticisms now that The Double has finished airing
The Double is doing extremely well. The MDL rating is 9.0. It broke Youku's record for the most ads in a single episode and is currently Youku's most ads for a drama in 2024 so far. It is only the second drama that both Disney and Netflix picked it up at the same time. The Double is #1 drama three weeks in a row and will probably be #1 again next week, garnering 618 points when most #1 dramas don't get over 600. The Double may well be WXY's breakout role and WJY's comeback role and amazing performances by two supporting actors that one of them got moved to main character.
#XuKai Weibo Update 2024/5/24Today, Mrs. Wu Zhen attends the meeting alone , when you are in the world, be careful…
Her shadow casts cat ears and cat tail larger than life. I like this director use of whimsical visual metaphors. This director has an artistic sensibility that he prioritizes art over logic to add depth and symbolism. His scenes tantalize with imaginative imagery.
