Avenue X is biased and hates certain actors. She doesn't view what she considers "idol dramas" and "idol actors"…
There's a drama recently aired that she likes she says, "created with love", "imperfect but certain aspects are impressive"; however, this drama, The Double, she rants about the visual metaphors (qin competition), slow-motion (leaves falling), camera close up and far away (faces), and says a person has to be brainless to enjoy it (so illogical) so she's had enough and knew beforehand she wouldn't like it but only watched it to make review. Even things like the lighting are okay she has to point it out that it's not great. Even Wu Jin Yan' acting she has to make a comment like she's worse than a robot, or Wang Xing Yue acting is too one dimensional to her and lack of depth and expressions, always the same look, etc. She harbors strong biases against “idol dramas” and “idol actors.” Her tendency to nitpick rather than provide constructive critique limit her ability to offer valuable insights to a broader audience.
I heards lots of good things about that drama. So this director also is directing moonlit reunion. I hope ìt…
This director is the son of the most famous screenwriter/director of his time, among Beijing circles, his father was considered the "godfather of dramas".
About voice dubbing ... According to Avenue X, whose opinion can be controversial, but I think she does have expertise/experience…
Avenue X is biased and hates certain actors. She doesn't view what she considers "idol dramas" and "idol actors" as real dramas or real actors. She really should not watch what she disdains knowing beforehand that she will write a negative review, unless she likes the actor, then she will overlook flaws and say all kinds of supportive arguments.
Did Jiang Li intend to kill him with the arrow? Did Princess W push Jiang Li right before she released the arrow at Scholar Shen? If Xiao Heng hadn't intercepted the arrow, would it have killed Shen?
Tale of rose will be aired from June 8th on CCTV8. There is also rumor that Lost you forever will be aired right…
Jul 2 seems like a low-key date. Are there other highly anticipated dramas airing that week? Joy of Life is done airing. The Tale of Rose is so hot, it became the fastest urban drama to hit 30000 on Tencent. The Double is an unexpected hot drama right now. But these dramas will be done airing by Jul 2. However, the highly anticipated Lost You Forever S2 may be airing on Jul 10. I thought it was supposed to come out in August but maybe they want to get it out before the Summer Olympics, which is another reason Jul 2 for ABAY is a good date.

The leads are good in The Double. I'm already familiar with Wu Jin Yan. I checked out Wang Xing Yue's acting in Delicacies Destiny which showcase a completely different kind of character. He's a really excellent actor (has a lot going for him), and only 22, but he looks and feels so much older.
Gosh, I felt like I was in the Royal Feast drama set as soon as I saw the scenes. It's identical. I'm guessing that Yu Zheng (agent/producer) gave his new favorite young talented actor, WXY, a main role to promote him. WXY was only 19 when he made this drama, even though he looks and feels much older. I watched parts of it to catch his acting skills and I think he is an excellent actor.
Tiffany Tang was nominated for Best Actress for her role in Blossoms Shanghai at the Shanghai International TV Festival, also known as the Magnolia Awards. She's already a highly acclaimed actress.
This drama seems great, but they couldn’t find a prettier and younger FL to match up with Xi Kai?
Jing Tian is a pretty girl. She has height and a very nice figure and lovely skin and beautiful big eyes and very graceful and charm. She has a better figure than other Chinese actresses who are too skinny.
I think the reason is because they don't end up together, so it doesn't make sense to gìve them more scenes together…
Bian Luohuan in the game had no romance with Yue Qi so already the drama made the risky change to the storyline due to having the same actor playing both characters who is supposed to look exactly alike as in the game too. The character of Bian Luohuan was the biggest change for one of the most important characters in the adaptation and a boring character which meant Xu Kai had to interpret this role by himself.
It's my first time watching the lead actress but I gotta say she slays her character. I also had doubts about…
I'm not surprised by Wu Jin Yan's strong performance in this drama having watched her over and over again in The Story of Yanxi Palace and Royal Feast. The male lead in this drama is so mature looking, there is really no age gap in terms of appearance. Her agency was not giving her any good roles pairing her with same old actor Nie Yuan 46 over and over again, and another actor 49 as well as other older actors. I hope her next drama with the handsome and charming Liu Xue Yi same age as her in Kill Me Love Me will be another hit for her.
Yang Hua's mom in The Tale of Rose still making blind dates for her son and locking her daughter up. I guess all Chinese fathers tend to the plants in modern dramas. The father (who was father in FIYS) gives cash to his daughter just like Yang Hua's father did.
Fun obs. for me. Yang Hua's mom is Rosie's mom, still setting up blind dates and locking her kid out of the house. Tong Yao's father is Rosie's father. Ding Yun Qi's father is also in this drama.
