I love every character Xu Kai has done. It's so hard to pick a favorite. I don't know why I like Zhu Zhanji character so much. No one ever mentions Royal Feast, and I just think that Xu Kai acting was outstanding in that drama, definitely a top Xu Kai performance to me. His acting was so moving in the two scenes, one where he knew Yuan Qi was about to poison him, the expression and emotions on Zhu Zhanji face, the way he talked to Yuan Qi bringing up their childhood past, and then the scene when he knows he has to sentence Yuan Qi with slow bodily mutilation for his treason, simply exquisite, nuanced acting. Xu Kai has chemistry with male characters too, maybe more?

Zhang Nan and Xu Kai were both in the same modeling agency doing modeling together before they got into acting so some of the pictures or videos of them are most likely from their modeling work, and they were so young back then, it's only understandable two young people at that age working together would become friends.

I'm thinking SAF6 will only help Xu Kai and the other actors become even more known internationally. On Douban, someone posted screen shot of comments from Taiwan game fans since childhood praising SAF6. They do not watch Chinese dramas but are longtime fans of Sword and Fairy games. When they heard about the drama two years ago, they were very worried the drama would ruin their childhood, but now having seen it, they are very pleased. They realized "sugar coating" emotional lines which is more implicit in the game, is for drama watchers and since it is natural and not artificial (good acting) and because the characters respect the original work so much, they are very happy.

In WOL and SAF6, haters were hitting on the female leads. They will hit on Xu Kai dramas any way they can find a reason (just like that AvenueX). Haters have a way of finding something to hate on with the tactic of it spinning it into a narrative for unsuspecting minds.

Well, from his inteviews, Xu Kai seems like a pretty strong person who can stay focus despite nasty rumors.

I've seen another video from two years ago on You Tube making Xu Kai look bad, but that was two years ago before I knew who he was.

Xu Kai WOL and SAF6 is actually quite successful in my opinion, esp. WOL, and he's doing some of his personal best in those dramas. It feels like Xu Kai is at pivotal point in his career after 5 yrs of on the job training, he's starting to take it to another level. He's trying to make a breakthrough as every actor does. So someone decided to take him down after seeing his success on WOL. When I saw the You Tube video many weeks ago, i had this awful feeing, he must be doing something right in his career for this kind of low down dirty rumors. I though it will blow over but seems it's increasing otherwise why would he feel the need to take action in his busy schedule on set. Can you imagine his poor mother have to see this kind of garbage about her son? Just like Xu Kai won't go shirtless in his dramas after getting fat shamed, he probably won't do playboy roles again like his iconic AMA Gu Yanzen, only he can portray which will be a shame since he is the a rare Chinese actor who does it so well.

I just worried that people believe garbage or if they don't, these tactics do still work.. it will forever leave doubts in the recesses of people's minds unless they watch his interviews and get to know him. An actor's image is so important to their career. It's their image that fans fall in love with. Why do some people like one actor over another? It's because we all see something different that draws us to a particular actor due to our own experiences and preferences in life.
Trying to create negative perceptions and impressions of an actor can turn off viewers from watching his drama or rating down his dramas.
It was Xu Kai's good looks and charms that caught my attention but it was my good impressions of him as a person through interviews and fan videos of him that makes me follow his work. If I learn Xu Kai is a bad person in real life, I don't care how good looking or charming on screen he is, I will stop watching his drama, but I am usually a good judge of character and naturally drawn to good people all my life, and I sense he is genuine, he may not be perfect, no one is , but he seems like a person who is kind to others, and has good values and attitudes, is humble, decency, etc.

I watched the video, and it clearly says the accuser denied it was Xu Kai so why is CBIZ ENT allowed to put Xu Kai's name in the subject? This video is misleading because a lot of people won't bother to listen to the whole report, all they see is the header says it was Xu Kai. This is outrageous people can post intentional misleading subject lines to spread false rumors that can derail a person's career and ruin a person for life with no consequences. Every time, I search Xu Kai on You Tube, it really bugs me this video shows up first, so I have to be reminded of it.

this CBIZ ENT is very sneaky in how they report things. The subject says "Xu Kai was called out", that can be misleading. People may think he was guilty. After this, I listened to their other videos and they are always sneaky like this in their reporting. The correct subject should be "False rumor",

The sad truth is that this kind of tactic works. Even if the person who started the rumor is caught, it worked. There will always be people who will have a bad impression of him even if they say he's innocent.

only a week? the CBIZ ENT video been up for many weeks already and if someone don't force them to take it down, it will be up forever spreading lies about Xu Kai. I doubt that his agency didn't care, they probably thought it would just go away on its own, but that video is still up. I'm sure only Xu Kai can take action, so he finally reported it to the authorities. I've been wondering for weeks because it keeps popping up on You Tube when I search on Xu Kai, how this video can stay up and no one is doing anything about it. Just think of all the people who don't know him see that subject, now won't watch his dramas. Why would someone do such a hateful thing to him?

Several weeks ago, CBIZ ENT channel on You Tube posted a video with Xu Kai name in the subject line to spread the rumor. My observation is that this channel is a Bai Lu fan and Xu Kai hater. I watched a few of the videos on this channel since it always popping up on my Apple TV and it is clearly a Bai Lu fan. This channel recently posted a video about how Tian Xi Wei and Xu Kai perform first kiss scene on the set of Moonlight Reuinon,and she's "taking care of him" as if to insinuate that he is incompetent or something. How can they be allow to leave the false rumor video up on You Tube forever? It is clearly misleading. The subject line says it was Xu Kai, then when you watch the video, the report says that the accuser said it was not Xu Kai. Someone is actively and viciously trying to take Xu Kai down fast.
I don't think all Bai Lu fans are like this but this channel is clearly a Bai Lu fan.

Jing Tian is a very lovely lady, such beautiful eyes, skin, and figure. She is so ladylike and delicate in manners, graceful, seems like a gentle and sweet lady. She really stands out.
I haven't watched WOL for a while, there are too many good scenes, but I know among my top scenes is the scene that Li Ni, mounted on his horse, passionately shouts to Cui Lin several times he wants to marry her.
