The native title is Le You Yuan but translated it became Wonderland of Love. The characters for Le You Yuan, using google translator, is Happy+Swim+Field; hence, someone came up with Wonderland of Love, but you really cannot simply take apart characters. There is no English words to describe it.

Le You Yuan is at the center of this drama; it is the driving force behind Li Ni. Couldn't haters provide fake birthdates with fake accounts? People are not going to give exact birthdate.
Either every 2 days viewers decide the drama is getting worse which I don't believe, or else haters are creating fake accounts with fake birthdates every few days, or MDL is scaling the ratings down so eventually it will result in 7.8, or they will update it when more completed ratings come in.. but this is unusual at 3.4 weeks, the rating is usually pretty much settled in. How can MDL decide 7.8 one week into airing? Over on Viki, there is a war of comments going on with tons of upvoting and downvoting user ratings. It's not enough haters want to rate it 1 or 2 or 3, but let's also downvote the people who rate it high. Why does SAF6 have so much hate? Try giving it a 10 with great comments and see how many downvotes you will get.

I followed WOL daily and there were suspicious patterns there too compared to other dramas I was following at same time. WOL was so solid, so good so it was able to maintain 8.5 despite patterns that don't make sense. If SAF6 does not at least get 8.0, MDL ratings are manipulated by them. It seems they have the final say over users. SAF6 is the evidence. It's too obvious.

It makes no sense that the ratings keep dropping every day.. drip, drip drip. It's an anomaly for this much change. They're watching the same drama for a few weeks don't change their opinions of it every 2 or 3 days. MDL can't even put up a 7.9 for SAF6 after 3.4 weeks. It's so drastic, it's suspicious.

You can try doing what I'm doing and see for yourself. Just rescale the 50% to 100% by taking each age group % and divide by the total % so the new proportions now add up to 100% and take this new % times the rating by age group. The calculation comes within +/- 0.1 of the overall rating that MDL is posting EXCEPT for SAF6. Why?

Does this mean MDL is only using data if user provides birthdate or the age group data is a pretty good sample size, or it's just a coincidence, this calculation is within 0.1 accuracy?

It's disturbing what MDL is doing to the rating on this drama.
My calculation on the overall score is pretty accurate to within +/- 0.1 using MDL age group distribution data they published which I assumed is scrubbed or edited data or else why do they publish it. How do they know user age? I rescale to 100% since it only adds up to approx 50%, and perform a sumproduct calc on % times the rating by age group. Where is the other 50% of the data? Or else just average the three biggest block of ages 18-24,25-34,35-44.

Also, I'm noticing a constant drip drip drip of degradation on SAF6 ratings every few days since it aired. I didn't notice this with other dramas I was tracking. Does MDL know that it will drip to 7.8 eventually is that why they keep it at 7.8? Is it related to the schedule freezes? Why does MDL freeze SAF6 at 7.8 since it aired. It is impossible for it to drip down to 7.8! going into the final week.

I can't wait to see this because Xu Kai sets a high bar for himself. When he says he didn't do good enough, I know his bar is high. I've yet to be disappointed in his acting. I wish Seven Tan and Xu Kai great success in this drama. I like Seven Tan too so I'm excited.

Same thing here. I got into Chinese drama because of Xu Kai and it made me want to learn Mandarin.

I think Xu Kai would do well anywhere. His performance in AMA is the stuff of Hollywood. But Xu Kai seems grounded in Chinese values (thousands of years) and he wouldn't like living in Hollywood. I like Asian culture that promotes respecting and caring for elders and family.

Despite the shape of his face is not perfect but he is undeniably handsome. This is subjective of course, but I find that his face and body movements are expressive in charming ways that I don't see in other actors. He has a way about him that is simply Xu Kai Only.

The reason Xu Kai looks good in anything he wears is because of his figure. Most Asian men don't have his type of figure. Even his hands are exquisite. I couldn't but help noticed them in his drama, Royal Feast. Also, in Royal Feast, they did a close up shot of him eating soup, and I couldn't but help notice the form of his mouth is delicate, almost feminine beauty. I don't know who the director is, but he knows to capitalized on his features. It's' not just his beauty that I watch him, it's his acting that stands out too, and then in interviews, I find this actor is also down-to-earth. That's why I am a fan. When I learned of haters, I became a bigger supporter. Ifeel he is under value and under rated. But that is a blessing in disguise for him. He can focus on his work instead, and as he says, on improving himself.

I don't know why, but when I see Xu Kai and Seven Tan as a couple, there is a sense of wholesome feeling. I can't wait to see them together in a drama.

I'm pretty sure my calculation is not far off once the remaining six episodes have aired next week, the rating should update to 8.2. I follow MDL data daily and for whatever reason, SAF6 changes go in one direction only - steady decline. I think it is correlated to the schedule freezes and partly due to older age group (only 9% of the pie). But I'm using MDL own data to come up with 8.2. I assumed the age group stats they published is scrubbed data; otherwise, why bother to publish it?

No that's not true that fans inflate scores purposely - maybe some do. If they rate it generously, it's because the rating system is flawed. There is no criteria how one should rate a drama. One person may find a character to be annoying and rate it less, how is that not deflating the score?

typically, Viki is 1 point higher than MDL, so my calculation for MDL is 8.3 then VIki should be 9.3 but it is 8.6. This is an abnormality.

The ending is the same as the game ending. In the game ending, Qi and Jinzhao know each other. But in the drama, they show that they just met and will get to know each other. They give so many clues that will happen, the fish pendants they both wearing touched each other as if it activated resonance between them again, they kept turning back and looking at each other, and ended the scene with them both staring at each other. It seems that not all the memories were completely wiped out. Maybe Qi being an ancient beast with long life, had more than enough to sacrifice so they allowed some memories to remain. It's a fantasy, anything can happen so I just accept that somehow some memories did remain but it's faint but enough that will get them back together. It's a very happy ending that these two will get to know each other again and have a new beginning, a better life. If they follow the game where in the epilogue, JInzhao and Qi know each other, that would e confusing and boring. Already I read a comment the ending is bland, so the drama made it more interesting by allowing the viewer some intrigue and mystery and imagination instead of just well here's Jinzhao and Qi again.

It's a fantasy, who knows, maybe Qi did something to the fish pendants when she took them with her to be sacrificed for her memories. Maybe she left some memories or "resonance" in the fish pendants so that she can be reunited with him. Their bond and resonance was so strong , even the "Gods" cannot remove all trace of it. The saying "Love conquers all" taken to the extreme. Afterall, Bian was able to put his memories in JInzhao's left eye, why can't she do that with the fish pendants?

I can watch the intro scene over and over again, she's so lovely to watch. Esther has high quality in her acting (her expressions are deep), charm, and offers something special other actresses don't have. I''m glad to know her in SAF6. I will watch her more in the future. Without her as Qi, SAF6 would not have been the same and Xu Kai would not be as good without her as fl.
