ALP is my favorite Xu Kai drama. I hate it when I see people write that Xu Kai is best known for his appearance and for having famous female leads as if he deserves no credit for his acting.
His performance in ALP is on par with ZDY who to me is top tier actress, a four Dan actress.
His expressions are as deep as ZDY. His portrayal of Qing Mu is as different as Bai Jue as is his portrayal of Yue Jinzaho and Bian in SAF6. He puts his whole being into each character, with a
different set of expressions and mannerisms. Every character he portrays becomes an entirely different personality that as a viewer I feel that I know this character. I can turn on any episode in ALP and just fall in love with it. The entire cast is talented. This drama is a very emotional and moving drama. I love the second couple too.

There is nothing about SAF6 that would cause viewers who has been watching to change their ratings dramatically. Low ratings below a 7 are usually given by passersby who never really watched the drama.
