There were no big emotional scenes nor kissing scenes, but I still feel so many emotions about his character because of Xu Kai. Xu Kai can make romantic love scenes without having any physical contacts. He still can create the most romantic feeling.

It's good because they allowed him to actually act. So often, dramas , the director just tells the actor he has to stand there and say these lines.

I haven't watched Yanxi Palace for a long time and wouldn't want to rewatch it, it's way too long with 70? episodes. The only parts I like are Fuca Fucheng. The scene most vivid when Yanxi Palace comes to mind is when she takes him soup after she had stabbed him. His acting in that scene was mesmerizing, not just his beautiful angelic face and body but his natural acting and deep emotions pouring out of him onto the screen. Actually every scene he was in captured my heart for Fuca. He needs more roles that allow him to act, not just stand there and say a few lines.

Gu believed that until something happens, it has not been predestined is optimistic he can prevent the diaster. He showed up at the fight with Qiyuan sect to change the future, but did he?

It's interesting to go back to Episode 1 mysterious scene after Qi absorbed the Qiyuan orbs, it triggered her, she is inside a mine cave, cowering in fear, but fear of what? There were two voices. One said "Qi, come back to me. Jinzhao has abandoned you. I won't deceive you. Come back to me", the other voice told her "Don't listen to him (or her?). Whose voices were those? Jinzaho was able to mindlink with her to break her out of it.

Also another interesting detail going back to Ep 1 is that when they were fighting for the egg, it shows that Jinzaho can use mindlink to control her, but Jinzhao has never really used mindlink to control her, right?

I skimmed through Douban comments and as hard as it is to understand translation, I get the sense that "netizens" are full of critical people who criticize every little thing. One wonder if they make a game out of this. Their entertainment is to criticize not to enjoy the drama.
aayushblink04 is right, it's all rubbish. There is a lot of garbage out there and easy to fall into it. I have also seen some excellent reviews that are intelligently written and provide supporting details.

if you look at Douban rating for AJTL, 10% of the ratings are 1 due to its ending. Does a bad ending really deserve to rate the entire drama a 1? 10% is quite high. it's normally more like 5% as there will always be unreasonable people who judge an entire drama by one thing they didn't like. In SAF6, I guessing the high 35% of the ratings are 1's did not like Q's childish voice. They've turned the Douban rating into a joke.

the 5.1 won't go back up when 35% of the users give it a 1 to dilute the true score. The score is a big fat joke. Ignore it. I'm beginning to think there is a conspiracy.
I like to know how many dramas have 35% of the users rate it a 1. I think the average is 5% are 1's. AJTL got 10% because the ending. Did people give this drama a 1 just because of Qi's voice? I thought Douban supposed to weed out the scores that dont' make sense.

The true score among reasonable Douban watchers is more like 6.7 to 6.9.
