she is definitely the "it" girl these days. she is everywhere. I personally don´t find her appealing but that is just a personal preference, I would definitely not turn down a drama just because she is in it, I have to admit she is quite cute both in personality and looks!
Tan Jianci´s Lost You Forever has got a new trailer and he looks so epic in it, I am just hoping to finally watch him in the historical setting and totally over-project him in the role of Gu Yun. it´s not Sha Po Lang, but it´s something to look forward to!!!
Personally my problem isn´t the thought itself - a kpop artist turned a kdrama actor but this article is kinda…
oh, I didn´t know that! thanks for the info and clarification. so if I got it right, I can write about Bang Yongguk all I want as long as I only mention his appearances in variety shows ? I thought it would have been quite stricter but if that´s the case. I am all about to see all those articles of kpop artists and I don´t mind. I am surprised no one has been talking about Blackpink just yet!
Good Article I didn't know KPOP articles weren't allowed. Since some of the concert/documentaries and reality…
Personally my problem isn´t the thought itself - a kpop artist turned a kdrama actor but this article is kinda off due to its context. Were it an article about Taehyung acting in a drama or was it more connected to actual DRAMAS instead of variety shows or their documentaries that would make total sense and objections would not make sense. You are of course totally right that other groups have talented actors too and it is totally fine writing about them.
also, the whole argument of "anyone can write those articles" is not true? last time I checked only some people can become article writers on MDL so no, not everyone can write them.
by no means, I want to make it sound like a personal attack on the writer or anyone else. I like kpop, I really do but I think there are places where you can write about kpop and there is a place where you can write about kdramas and if there is a rule, it should be applied clearly and not "maybe we can bend it a little"?
P. S. shooting a documentary is not acting (in some sense yes, but they want us to believe they are that way, right?), reality shows have it in their name it´s called a REALITY show. again it´s scripted sure, but we are meant to believe it´s not, right? where is acting in it? the first part of the article clearly points out the acting gig of V which is fine.
the article seems a bit misplaced and a bit of "I should probably write something and I don´t know what to about" but fair enough. I wonder when will we actually see Jin acting since it used to be his dream.
have just started watching Death Note ♥! He is such a good actor and looks so young!!!! I would have never guessed he is already in his 30s even in his recent pictures. (I know he was about 26 when he was shooting DN!)
shoot, I am gonna miss the gang as well as residents, fellows, patients. seriously, those almost 2-hours per episode were worth it. I especially loved the second part of this season when the episodes started to have little themes like mothers, goodbyes, first time proclaiming death, mistakes etc. it is such a beautiful drama. a huge respect to all doctors, nurses, paramedics, admins and janitors. ♥
yes, he is type-casted. yes, he is usually in romcoms but he does tsunderes well. he does have the look and the appeal. I can´t imagine him being in some gore, horror series. You go Eunwoo!!! ♥
is the novel interesting? im planning on starting it
yes, you should definitely read it. it is really well written. the setting is fascinating and I loved living in that universe for a while, so adventurous! but the best thing is definitely the characters. you will love them so much, both the mains and their friends. it is a fascinating word. the only thing that felt boring for me was the political scheming in the palace but I know some people really nerd out about that stuff so enjoy it!
