I think the 3rd episode was really good! I felt so sorry for the girl, what a situation to find herself into. I really hope that she survived in the end. Eunwoo´s character is awesome, so fun and sleazy at the same time :D. really intriguing and I love how Miho is their designated driver :D
The title bothers me. What's the point in mentioning K-drama actors when it's a Korean drama award show? Did they…
does SBS air ONLY kdramas or any other shows? a genuine question. MTV doesn´t give awards to only MTV original American shows. Squid Game got nominated too, hence I think if the case is similar, I think the title makes a lot of sense.
am I literally the only person who feels weirdly about Kang Chang Hyuk (Eunwoo)? it´s like I don´t know whether to trust him and that´s intriguing. is he even a good guy?
yeah, you are right on that, there were so many stereotypes. I have thought we were past that, but apparently…
oh wait, they dated for that long? :D omg, I thought it was like a "casual dating" month-long thing :D. at least they made it seem so, I guess that is why I wasn´t that bothered by her cheating. of course it is a bad thing to do, but their relationship seemed so vague I thought it wasn´t all that serious. you are right that it did seem that in the end it wasn´t only him Namjin who didn´t care but her as well. didn´t she know what his job was? :D apparently no, but at the same time, why was he so bothered by her caring about fashion more than about world politics when he, himself, worked in that business? I guess it is one of those shows where you just have to leave your braincells at the doorsteps because so many things didn´t make sense :D. speaking about fashion that honey bag though? :D :D :D there were a couple of good moments, but like ... their friendship is not all that great? Minho´s mullet is getting the hate it deserves, the man is embodiment of perfection in my eyes, but whoever decided on him wearing THAT on his precious head should be given new glasses.
I had to literally drag myself to finish watching this. Expecting something like k-version of ‘devil wears Prada’…
yeah, you are right on that, there were so many stereotypes. I have thought we were past that, but apparently not. it was the stereotypical portrait of gay people, but also the ageism that we saw. So every successful woman in her 50s has to be a boss b*tch? that´s not very supportive.
I think that they didn´t dig into the cheating plot because it did seem that Namjin´s and JiEun´s relationship was not that serious. To be fair, he did seem to be quite indifferent even though it was obvious that he knew she cheated on him and fairly, such indifference is the worst. imagine someone not being even bothered enough to actually get angry? it´s like he didn´t care at all. it also seemed they weren´t that serious. I still didn´t understand why she gave him a chance but fair enough. Woomin also didn´t seem to be the best of boyfriends, he needed to mature up. Yet, despite everything I didn´t understand what was so special about the FL.
I am about to watch episode 5, so I´ll see how the story progresses but the romance plot is a bit draggy and really makes no sense. I do like the clothes though and the whole fashion aspect.
came for Minho, staying for Minho, I don´t care about the story. he looks gorgeous in here :D. anyway, after reading the comments I have decided to give it a try anyway and I think you should watch it if: - you liked Devil wears Prada - you are looking for something easy, plot-wise - you like to let your eyes feast on beautiful, flashy production (everything looks so damn expensive :D) - you like "a bunch of good friends" vibe
but don´t expect too much, it´s really not that interesting or mind blowing so if you don´t have enough time and you are deciding on another drama, the second option is probably better. but I think it is fair to say this drama is well-done and non-complicated. also everyone looks really good. but hey, not everything needs to be nerve-wrecking!
from baddie to daddie
btw, there is a little typo in the world "psychology". just a heads up. not to be mean or anything. it happens. it´s a nice quiz!
